  • Publication number: 20230049729
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed configured to train an autoencoder. A data training set is generated comprising images of different faces. A first autoencoder configuration is generated, comprising a first encoder, and a first decoder. The first autoencoder configuration is trained using dataset images, wherein weights associated with the first encoder and weights associated with the first decoder are modified. A second autoencoder configuration is generated comprising the first encoder and a second decoder. The second decoder is trained using images of a first target face. First encoder weights are substantially maintained, and weights associated with the second decoder are modified. An autoencoder comprising the trained first encoder and the trained second decoder generates an output using a source image of a first face having a facial expression, where the facial expression of the first face from the source image is applied to the first specific target face.

  • Patent number: 11554790
Abstract: Techniques to predict object behavior in an environment are discussed herein. For example, such techniques may include inputting data into a model and receiving an output from the model representing a discretized representation. The discretized representation may be associated with a probability of an object reaching a location in the environment at a future time. A vehicle computing system may determine a trajectory and a weight associated with the trajectory using the discretized representation and the probability. A vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle, can be controlled to traverse an environment based on the trajectory and the weight output by the vehicle computing system.

  • Publication number: 20230003228
Abstract: Technologies are generally described for holding an impeller of a pump assembly in place axially with an impeller locking collar by loading the collar against a ring element. In a centrifugal pump assembly, one side of the shaft has a larger diameter for the impeller to abut against. The other side of the shaft may be fitted with an impeller locking collar comprising two portions that can be threaded together and hold the impeller in place by tightening against a ring element such as a split ring or spiral lock. Anti-rotation to avoid loosening of the impeller locking collar may be achieved by providing counter threads against a shaft rotation. Secondary anti-rotation may be provided by one or more set screws in the impeller locking collar.

  • Patent number: 11492937
Abstract: A multi-mode muffler for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine provides a rotary plate that modulates exhaust gas flow between a first and second flow path. Each flow path may provide different sound dampening characteristics, thereby providing different sound profiles with the same muffler. In a disclosed embodiment, the rotary plate is driven by a shaft coupled to an external actuator. Also, a third possible position of the rotary plate may allow flow through both the first and second flow paths, thereby providing a third possible noise profile. One of the sound profiles may be louder than the other thereby allowing the muffler to switch between “loud” and “quiet” modes of operation.

  • Patent number: 11431829
Abstract: A system adaptably directs packet flows to packet processing elements based on OSI layer characteristics and, when necessary, inspection of data payloads. Characteristics of parsed data flows are identified. A comparison ensues. Upon recognition of a match, the entirety of the packet flow is directed to a linked packet processing element. When a match does not occur, the packet flow is directed to a second analysis tier whereby data payloads of the flow are examined. Characteristics from the data payload analysis are compared to entries in a database. Upon a match being recognized the matching packet flow is directed to the packet processing element. Features of packet flow having undergone data payload analysis are captured and used to update the database of prior associations so that any subsequent receipt of similar packet flows will be forwarded to the linked packet processing element without having to conduct a data payload analysis.
