    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for replacing a first server of a first node a computer network by adding a second server configured with a database system as a second node to the computer network. A snapshot of a first database of database files that is communicatively coupled to the first node may be taken. The snapshot may be applied to the second server by attaching the snapshot of the first database as a second database to the second server and configuring the second server to match the first server. A failover of the computer network to the second node with the second server having the second database attached may be forced. Voting may be switched to the second server of the second node of the computer network and the first node of the computer network may be removed when the forced failover is successful.

However, some shows also include promotional content that a telecommunication or cable provider adds to the media presentation to promote other shows or events being broadcasted later. By the time the user views the recording, however, the promotional content may already be outdated. The embodiments herein describe techniques for removing time-dependent promotional content from a media presentation before the recording of the media presentation is sent to VOD providers.

    Abstract: Systems and method of reconfiguring content portions of video prior to broadcast to end consumers are presented herein. High dynamic range (HDR) content portions may be mixed with non-HDR content portions in a video. Non-HDR content portions may be identified and reconfigure to increase its dynamic range to give a more seamless appearance and interaction with HDR content portions within the video. In some implementations, individual content portions may be reconfigured such that parameter values of content parameters having a bit depth corresponding to non-HDR content may be substituted with substitute values having a bit depth that correspond to HDR content and/or other content.

The business rules may be flexibly configured to prevent television applications from displaying unsuitable, unrelated or irrelevant content with channel video content, thus providing a unified and coherent presentation for viewers while preserving the intended messages of primary programming content providers and advertising partners.

In one embodiment, the Web site can be a dynamic Web site hosted by a channel link server. The method further includes receiving Web content associated with the broadcast program from the Web site. In one embodiment, the Web content is synchronized with the broadcast program based on a program schedule. The method further includes providing the Web content and the broadcast program to an output display contemporaneously.
