  • Patent number: 11774563
Abstract: A method of using an optical TOF module to determine distance to an object. The method includes acquiring signals in the TOF module indicative of distance to the object, using a first algorithm to provide an output indicative of the distance to the object based on the acquired signals, using at least one second different algorithm to provide an output indicative of the distance to the object based on the acquired signals, and combining the outputs of the first and at least one second algorithms to obtain an improved estimate of the distance to the object. In some implementations, each of the first and at least one second algorithms further provides an output representing a respective confidence level indicative of how accurately distance to the object has been extracted by the particular algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20090215715
Abstract: Phosphoramidate derivatives of nucleoside compounds such as cladribine, isocladribine, fludaribine and clofarabine have enhanced therapeutic potency in homo sapiens, in particular, enhanced potency with respect to a cancer such as leukaemia. Suitably the phosphoramidate is substituted at the P atom by Ar—O, where Ar is aryl or heteroaryl, either of which may be optionally substituted. Formula (I).

  • Patent number: 7426701
Abstract: An interactive drill down tool having a first level of information defining the steps necessary to complete an objective. A second level of information defines interrelationships between work positions. A third level of information defines what each work position must accomplish. The first, second, and third levels are organized such that the second level is accessible from the first level and the third level is accessible from the second level.

  • Patent number: 7088963
Abstract: An analog cordless telephone has a handset and a base. The handset and/or the base of the telephone may include the following components. A phase locked loop (PLL) and a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), adapted to be shared between a receive path and a transmit path. A first analog gate is adapted to gate a received audio signal on and off, in response to a clock signal. A second analog gate is adapted to gate a transmit audio signal on and off, in response to an inverted version of the clock signal. The transmit audio signal is enabled when the received audio signal is gated off, and the VCO is further adapted to be modulated by the enabled transmit audio signal to output a modulated RF signal.

  • Patent number: 5404171
Abstract: A method and apparatus for synchronizing sequence of digital information packets is disclosed. The sequence of digital information packets is provided from a digital information source at a source rate and is later received by a device having an associated synchronization rate. In a preferred embodiment, a counter increment is determined, and a current information packet and a next information packet are selected from the sequence. The current information packet is received into the device. Upon an occurrence of a synchronization event on the device, the counter increment is subtracted from a counter and the counter is compared to a predetermined threshold. If the counter is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold, then the next information packet is received into the device, a next information packet is selected from the sequence, and a predetermined constant is added to the counter.

  • Patent number: 4502608
Abstract: A disposable lid for a drinking cup is provided, where the lid has a generally circular cavity formed around the periphery thereof to accommodate the lip of the circular mouth of a cup, and so as to fit snugly thereover. The central portion of the lid is generally planar, and there is a skirt portion which depends downwardly and outwardly from the cavity, and has a pair of cuts formed therein at the rim and through the thickness thereof, the cuts being spaced apart from each other a distance less than 25% of the circumference of the rim--generally they are spaced about 30 to 60 degrees apart. The rim cuts may be either notches or slits. A second cut is made in the central portion of the lid through the thickness thereof, in a place radially inwardly from the cavity but at a distance less than the radius of the lid, and has a length so as to extend at least between imaginary diameters that are drawn through the rim cuts.
