Abstract: In some embodiments, a pry bar is shaped to be conveniently worn along the belt by an operator such as a law enforcement officer. The pry bar includes a curved lever arm having a curvature that matches an operator's waist, and a prying ridge extending inward from a longitudinal end of the curved lever arm. The inward orientation of the prying ridge reduces the lever action of the pry bar, but allows the operator to conveniently carry the pry bar on the waist without snagging on external objects.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a monolithic extended bolt release (EBR) for a rifle includes a rifle mount including a pin aperture for securing the EBR to the rifle case/housing, a bolt stop plate integrally formed with the rifle mount for stopping the rifle bolt, and an extension arm integrally formed with the rifle mount and bolt stop plate. The extension arm includes a vertical straight arm extending from the rifle-mounting part to a trigger opening when the EBR is mounted on a rifle, and a horizontal straight arm connected to the vertical straight arm and passing through the trigger opening. A right-handed rifle user can release the bolt by pressing with finger(s) on the EBR on the right of the rifle, pivoting the EBR about the mounting pin, lowering a bolt stop plate of the EBR and allowing release of the bolt and reloading of the rifle. The EBR design displays superior reliability over extended periods of use in harsh conditions.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a revolving sling mount for a rifle (e.g. AR-15/M4/M16) includes a stack comprising a fixed plate configured to be secured to the rifle in a fixed position, a revolving sling-attachment plate rotatably attached to the fixed plate, and fixed ring securing the revolving sling-attachment plate between the fixed plate and stop ring. Each of the fixed plate, sling-attachment plate and stop ring defines an inner aperture sized to slide over a buttstock tube of the rifle. The revolving plate rotates relative to the fixed plate about an axis perpendicular to a major plane of the fixed plate. The revolving plate includes a sling-attachment loop for attaching a sling. One or more rotation stops constrain a rotation of the sling-attachment plate so that the sling-attachment loop does not obstruct the rearward motion of a charging handle assembly of the rifle.
