  • Publication number: 20240058547
Abstract: A device for implanting a substance into subcutaneous tissue or the dermis of a patient can include a housing, a hypodermic needle, a rod, and a bolt-action rod displacement mechanism. The hypodermic needle can include a lumen that is preloaded with a dermal filler thread. The rod can be configured to fit within the lumen of the hypodermic needle. Upon displacement within the lumen, the rod can cause displacement of the dermal filler thread within the lumen. The bolt-action rod displacement mechanism can be configured to displace the rod within the lumen away from a starting position toward the dermal filler thread.

  • Patent number: 10661022
Abstract: A substance delivery device that includes a hypodermic needle with a tube for receiving and containing a volume of a substance. The substance delivery device includes a rod, a portion of which is of a size and shape to fit within the tube of the hypodermic needle. The rod can be displaced into and within the tube to contact and apply a force to a volume of substance contained within the tube to cause, at least in part, the volume of substance to be discharged out of the tube. The substance delivery device includes a rod displacement mechanism that applies a force to the rod to cause the rod to be displaced into and within the tube. The substance delivery device also includes a needle retraction mechanism that is configured to apply a force to the hypodermic needle to cause the hypodermic needle to retract from within a patient.

  • Patent number: 10603161
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for nipple and breast formation are described where devices precondition or expand a target nipple tissue to reduce the pressure exerted by the skin on an eventual implant. Generally, the apparatus comprises a mold having a contact surface which is cured in conformance with a breast upon which the mold is positionable, the contact surface having an adhesive for securement upon the breast, and the mold defining a cavity along the contact surface which conforms to a size of a nipple to be formed upon the breast and where the cavity further comprises the adhesive for securement to the nipple. A breast enlargement device comprises a cup larger than the target breast and further defines an inner surface which adheres to the breast when contacted.
