    Abstract: A planetary gearset is provided having an internal ring gear with a plurality of generally radially inwardly extending teeth in meshing engagement with at least one pinion gear. A hub portion extends generally radially inwardly from the internal ring gear. The internal ring gear and the hub portion are integrally formed. Additionally, the internal ring gear and hub portion may be integrally formed by one of a spinning operation, powdered metal compaction, and cold extrusion.
