  • Patent number: 7405202
Abstract: Included in the present invention are methods of inhibiting sperm capacitation, inhibiting the phosphorylation of a protein at tyrosine residues, inhibiting an acrosomal reaction, and inhibiting fertilization of an egg by sperm with the administration of a CRISP polypeptide.

  • Patent number: 5070732
Abstract: A sensor module supplying analog data signals from one of a temperature or pressure sensing element connects to a modular switch system through a D-shaped sensor port in the modular switch housing. The manufacturer and user may modify the standard modular switch system, which includes an internal electrical assembly to be a pressure or temperature switch by applying and removing selected sensor modules. The interconnection between the sensor module and the modular switch system includes particular leads carrying analog data signals and serial digital information signals. These leads are attached to a connector secured to the sensor module substrate. The connector is enclosed in a D-shaped extended portion of a cover which snap fits to an open end of the sensor module base. Mounted on the sensor module substrate are an amplifier, a reference voltage circuit and a non-volatile memory containing calibration data relating to the standardization of output signals from the sensors.

  • Patent number: 5021610
Abstract: A connector 10 for protecting, clamping, and sealing a cable passing through an aperture of a housing 14 for electrical or electronic equipment. A portion 15 of the housing 14 includes an aperture 34 for accepting a bushing 18. The bushing 18 includes a passage for a cable 26 and a pair of jaws 82 for clamping the cable 26 to prevent movement. The portion 15 of the housing 14 also includes an aperture 54 for inserting a locking clip 22 which locks the bushing 18 in the portion 15 of the housing 14. The locking clip 22 also provides the force required to activate the clamping jaws 82 on the bushing 18. A sealing ring 30 is compressed between the end 90 of the bushing 18 and a bevel surface 94 in the portion 15 of the housing 14 to close off the aperture.

  • Patent number: 4870863
Abstract: A modular switch device includes a housing enclosing an interconnected control module, a display module and a power module. A sensor module supplying analog data signals from one of a temperature or pressure sensing element connects to the control module through a passage in the housing. A user connects his electrical wires and electrical power to the electrical assembly within the housing through an opening. The user can select between AC and DC switched output modules and the presence or absence of a 4-20 milliampere output module by plugging and unplugging same from wells provided in the housing. The manufacturer and user thus can modify the standard housing, which includes an internal electrical assembly to be a pressure or temperature switch and to provide selected output switch characteristics by applying and removing selected sensor and output modules thereto.

  • Patent number: 4168415
Abstract: An industrial type switch having modular parts which may be assembled so the switch may be used in a wide range of installations. The switch includes a differential module which is easily adjustable to operate over a selected range of pressures, a plug-in snap switch module so the switch may be easily wired and serviced, a range module so the response of the switch to pressures within a range may be readily accomplished, and any one of a plurality of different type actuator modules which are mountable on the exterior of the switch so the switch may be used in a large variety of different type installations.
