Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for sharing a content item from a secondary computing device to a primary computing device based on a tilt position of the secondary computing device. A sensor on the secondary computing device determines that the secondary computing device has a first tilt position that is associated with a non-sharing mode. The sensor senses that the secondary computing device is tilting from the first tilt position towards a second tilt position that is associated with a full sharing mode. In response, the content item is shared with the primary computing device. An amount of the content item that is shared continues to be increased as long as the sensor continues to sense that the secondary computing device is tilting. Once the secondary computing device has reached the second tilt position, the entire content item is shared with the primary computing device.

Abstract: An insertion catheter for a circulatory support catheter having a circulatory support device carried by an elongate flexible catheter shaft. The insertion catheter comprises a tubular body with a distal portion configured to axially movably receive the circulatory support device. A diameter of the distal portion is greater than a diameter of a mid portion of the tubular body. The insertion catheter may be inserted into an introducer sheath for delivery of the MCS device. A distal end of the insertion catheter may be located distally of a distal end of the introducer sheath and distally of the arterial bifurcation. The distal portion of the insertion catheter containing the MCS device may be located distally of the bifurcation, with a distal end of the MCS device slightly offset from the distal end of the tubular body.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes obtaining a first set of trip data associated with a first set of vehicular trips operated by a vehicle operator during a first time period. The first set of trip data includes a first set of telematics data and a first set of travel conditions. The method also includes determining a second set of travel conditions associated with a target vehicular trip. The method further includes predicting a second set of telematics data associated with the target vehicular trip. The method further includes determining a set of vehicle operation behaviors based at least in part on the second set of telematics data, as predicted. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: A method of forming a textured surface to prevent frost buildup includes forming a substrate. The method also includes forming a plurality of three-dimensional structures that attach to the substrate such that valleys are formed in between the three-dimensional structures. The method further includes controlling dimensions of each of the plurality of three-dimensional structures to generate a concentration gradient that forms as a result of a saturation vapor pressure difference between solid condensate and liquid condensate that forms on the textured surface. The concentration gradient causes evaporation of the liquid condensate in the valleys that occur between the plurality of three-dimensional structures. The vapor diffusion control provided by the three-dimensional structures can be further enhanced by the application of a moisture-absorbing coating to the planar bottom region/valleys between these structures.

Abstract: A node of an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network comprises processor circuitry and interface circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to make a determination concerning crosslink interference (CLI) between (a) a beam transmitted from a parent node to the IAB node and (b) a beam transmitted from the IBA node to a child node of the IAB node; and in accordance with the determination, and to generate a command configured to modify a property of the beam transmitted from the parent node to the IAB node. The interface circuitry is configured to transmit the command to a beam controller of the parent node.

Abstract: A method includes accessing genomic data from a first cohort and a second cohort of patients that are encrypted to comprise a probabilistic and irreversible hash of each patient's genomic sequence data; based on the probabilistic and irreversible hashes, determining one or more variants residing in a particular locale indicating where the one or more variants reside; comparing a first number of variants determined to reside in the particular locale for the first cohort of patients with a second number of variants determined to reside in the particular locale for the second cohort of patients; and in response to determining that the first number of variants determined to reside in the particular locale for the first cohort of patients and the second number of variants determined to reside in the particular locale for the second cohort of patients differ by more than a threshold value, identifying the particular locale.

The method also includes filling the plurality of channels in the surface of the base substrate with a second material that is different from the first material to form a metasurface on the base substrate. The method further includes placing the metasurface into a heat exchange system such that the metasurface is proximate to a liquid used in the heat exchange system.

Abstract: A surface texture includes a three-dimensional structure, a cross-section of which includes a first serration and a second serration. The first serration has a first peak having a height measured from a base of the three-dimensional structure to a top of the first serration. A valley is formed in between the first serration and the second serration, where the valley has a length measured from a base of the first serration to a base of the second serration. The first serration also has a vertex angle that forms the first peak. A coating that covers at least a portion of the valley, where the valley is designed to remain free of frost.

Abstract: In a cellular telephone network or other communication network, there is a need to monitor the status and health of various nodes of the network in real-time. The techniques disclosed herein use a real-time link to the network node to obtain a data stream of messages for processing. In one example, a modified Telnet Terminal Program connects to a system element, the user logs in to the system element, and the Program causes the messages from the element's local log file to stream past the Telnet screen as they are produced. The streaming log messages also are parsed and entered into a database as they are produced, providing a real-time capture of the streaming data into a database form. Graphs, for example, can be set to update themselves and thereby display real-time information. The user can interact with a graph to select a graph point and see the system element message(s) that generated the graph point.

Abstract: The combination defroster panel and sunshade for vehicle glass includes an electrically heated element disposed upon one side of a rigid panel and a reflective surface disposed upon the opposite side of the panel. The device is placed adjacent to the interior surface of the window glass of a vehicle for operation. The panel may be placed with the heating element facing the interior surface of the glass, and electrical power (battery, power grid, etc.) provided to melt ice and/or snow from the exterior of the glass and/or to evaporate condensation from the interior surface of the glass. Alternatively, the device may be placed with the reflective surface facing the interior of the glass, to reduce the interior temperature of the vehicle. The combination panel may be formed as a single rigid panel, or, alternatively, as a plurality of smaller panels hinged together to facilitate storage.
