  • Patent number: 10616105
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatus and computer readable medium is disclosed for extending the Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) in the network using embedded source identifiers in the packets. An example apparatus may include ports, memory and processing logic. The memory may include VRF routing tables corresponding to respective VRF domains and a list of media access control (MAC) addresses, wherein each MAC address in the list is linked to one of the respective VRF routing tables. The processing logic may be configured to receive an ingress packet at a port, identify a matching MAC address in the list that matches a source identifier of the ingress packet, and process the ingress packet according to the respective VRF domain associated with the matching MAC address that matches the source identifier.

  • Patent number: 10422332
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and controlling a pump includes defining processing targets, deriving a first actuator control signal Yc from the processing targets, and deriving actual operating parameters. Additionally, the actual operating parameters are compared to predefined system and pump limits to determine a second actuator control signal Y?c, the actual operating parameters are compared to predefined fluid limits to determine a third actuator control signal Y?c, the actual operating parameters are compared to predefined normal processing limits to determine a fourth actuator control signal Y??c, and the actual operating parameters are compared to at least one predefined abnormal processing limit to determine a fifth actuator control signal Y??c. The most conservative actuator control signal is then determined, and the pump is driven in accordance with the most conservative actuator control signal.

  • Patent number: 10057162
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatus and computer readable medium are disclosed for extending Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) for a network. An example apparatus includes ports, memory and processing logic. The memory includes VRF routing tables corresponding to respective VRF domains. The memory may also include a list of media access control (MAC) addresses, wherein each MAC address in the list is linked to one of the respective VRF domains. The processing logic may be coupled to access the memory and coupled to the ports. The processing logic may be configured to receive an ingress packet at a port of the apparatus, identify a VRF domain that the ingress packet belongs to, process the ingress packet according to the VRF domain, and optionally generate an egress packet, by embedding/writing a MAC address in the egress packet that acts as a source identifier for the respective VRF domain.

  • Patent number: 9243631
Abstract: A system for monitoring wear of pump casing liners is disclosed. The system may include a wear sensor disposed in proximity to the pump casing liner so that the sensor wears at substantially the same rate as the lining. The wear sensor may include a plurality of circuit loops having different lengths. As the pump casing liner and the sensor wear during use, the plurality of circuit loops are sequentially breached. A control system monitors the signals from the plurality of circuit loops to develop liner wear information. This information is employed to signal a user when one or more predetermined wear thresholds are exceeded.

  • Patent number: 8812739
Abstract: In one embodiment, a clock on a network device is initialized, and then a first timing message is received at the network device from a reference device having a first timestamp indicating when the first timing message was transmitted from the reference device. The network device may then determine and store a one-way delay from the first timestamp to a first time at which the first timing message was received at the network device. In response to restarting the clock, the network device may receive a second timing message from the reference device having a second timestamp indicating when the second timing message was transmitted from the reference device. The network device may then calibrate the clock such that a second time at which the network device received the second timing message is the second timestamp plus the stored one-way delay.

  • Publication number: 20140219313
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring the operation condition of a wide variety of machinery is disclosed. A plurality of sensors, including temperature sensors and vibration sensors, are coupled to a controller. The controller receives input from the sensors and determines whether the temperature and vibration levels are within acceptable ranges with respect to baseline values. If the temperature and vibration levels fall outside the acceptable ranges, then respective visual indicators alert a user of such a condition. Multiple alarm levels are provided. A mounting arrangement is also provided in which a single threaded fastener can be used to attach the monitor to the machinery. The threaded fastener engages a through-wall metal recess in the monitor to efficiently conduct heat and vibration from the machinery to the temperature and vibration sensors within the monitor. The metal recess also serves to protect the monitor from damage during installation.
