  • Publication number: 20230304250
Abstract: A grate hatch and folding barrier assembly has a pair of doors that open in a cabinet-style manner and lie flat or generally flat atop a support structure within which the grate hatch and folding barrier assembly is installed. A folding barrier gate assembly may be deployed from a collapsed position to complete a four-sided barrier around the hatch or opening. The folded barrier gate assembly has two opposing barrier gates, and a pair of secondary barrier gates that connect with and extend between the two opposing barrier gates to form the four-sided barrier around the hatch opening when fully deployed. When the barrier is no longer needed, the barrier assembly may be folded or collapsed and stored in the opening beneath or below the doors and the doors may then be closed.

  • Patent number: 11560777
Abstract: A filter assembly can include a filter element and a fluid inlet for fluid to flow through the filter element. The filter assembly can include bypass ports that are in a closed position from bypass port plugs until the filter screen becomes sufficiently clogged such that the fluid is restricted or prevented from flowing through the filter screen, which causes pressure to build up within the filter assembly. The increase in pressure can cause the bypass port plug to open the bypass ports such that fluid can flow through the bypass ports. The filter assembly can include a debris sleeve that partially or wholly surrounds the filter screen.

  • Publication number: 20190264534
Abstract: A bridge plug for use in a wellbore having an anchoring system to grip the inner surface of the surrounding wellbore, as well as a sealing system or packing element to seal against the inner surface. A hinged flapper permits flow of fluid in one axial direction through a central through bore, but can selectively contact against a seat to create a fluid pressure seal and prevent fluid flow through said central through bore in an opposite axial direction. The flapper can be manufactured of frangible material and/or dissolvable material, permitting selective removal of the flapper when desired.

  • Publication number: 20150006357
Abstract: As long as mortgage lenders allow some degree of flexibility in their loan pricing, strong fair lending controls are required to avoid/defend against discrimination claims, whether intentional or inadvertent “disparate impact.” Pricing engine technology combined with the process and methodology can help lenders to efficiently reduce the risk of fair lending compliance issues. Pricing engines can help a lender lock down pricing, enforce limits on discretionary adjustments, enforce/document approval authority for granting concessions or exceptions, limit the potential for errors, and provide the data/documentation needed to respond effectively to regulatory inquiries. Further, pricing engine technology can facilitate real-time monitoring for potential pricing disparities, and serve as the basis for an “early-warning” system that flags pricing disparities as they develop.
