  • Publication number: 20140285366
Abstract: A method and system for mapping characters of an input device of a computing device to fingerline positions of a user. The method includes embedding at least one character corresponding to the input device of the computing device to a fingerline position, The method also includes registering a character corresponding to the input device of the computing device using a designated registration fingerline position, wherein the designated registration fingerline position does not have any characters embedded thereto.

  • Patent number: 6941938
Abstract: An adapter assembly for releasably interconnecting a pressurized bottle with a paintball marker, wherein the adapter assembly includes a piercing pin moveable between retracted position and an extended position. The adapter assembly includes an internally threaded female socket for releasably engaging the pressurized bottle, and an externally threaded male head for releasably engaging a corresponding female connector on the paintball marker. The spacing of the threaded connections and the travel of the piercing pin are selected such that the piercing pin punctures a frangible seal of the pressurized bottle subsequent to fluid interconnection of both the pressurized bottle and the paintball marker with the adapter assembly.

  • Patent number: 4524963
Abstract: A stacking and feeding device of document-handling equipment for documents moving along one of their edges, includes a transporting conveyor belt system that forces the documents against a stop where they begin to stack up in the horizontal direction in the order in which they arrive. A feeder rides on the outermost document of the stack and slides along guide shafts as the size of the stack changes. The feeder is selectively actuated to remove the documents from the stack one at a time in the order in which they entered the stack. A swing arm is pivotally and extensibly connected between the feeder and the following stationary part of the equipment so that the documents can be delivered thereto, regardless of the position of the feeder.

  • Patent number: 4392810
Abstract: An oil feed system for an oil burner is disclosed. The feed system includes an oil preheater through which the oil is pumped to ensure that the oil fed to the burner nozzle is warm enough to ignite easily and completely. A purge line is provided to recirculate the standing oil in the supply line which leads to the burner nozzle back through the heater so that on start up cold oil is not sprayed from the nozzle. A solenoid valve in the purge line opens for a predetermined time initially during which oil is recirculated. It is not necessary to close off the burner nozzle during this period because the nozzle presents a considerably higher resistance to the oil than the purge line which is connected through the solenoid valve to the suction side of the feed pump with the result that the cold oil flows directly to the purge line.

  • Patent number: 4381119
Abstract: The invention is a multipart continuous form having several plies and a means to securely fasten the plies which prevents longitudinal slippage. To achieve this result the form has a series of locking and connecting tabs cut along its edge. The locking tabs fasten the inner plies of the form to the connecting tab, thereby preventing longitudinal shifting.
