Abstract: A wall mountable timer switch adapted to be installed in standard single and multiple-ganged electrical connector boxes includes an elongated housing having an electrical timer circuit wherein the elongated housing includes first and second unfinished edges. Each of the unfinished edges defines an elongated mating surface which extends along a length thereof. The elongated mating surfaces are configured to receive an associated end termination element having at least one corresponding elongated mating surface for mating with one of the said mating surfaces of the first and second unfinished edges.

Abstract: A readily deployable, portable escape ladder includes nestable rungs maintained in a releasable, stacked state. The ladder includes a cover having a releasable fastening system which, when released, permits the ladder to move from the stacked state to an extended state. The rungs include integral standoff members to displace the ladder from the surface of a building when deployed. The rungs are spaced one from the other, along a flexible mounting member. The mounting member penetrates the rungs in a staggered orientation.

Abstract: A three position slidable switch for use in a portable, rechargeable electrical device includes ON, OFF, and CHARGE positions. In the ON position a rechargeable battery is coupled in circuit with the device for the operation thereof. In the OFF position the battery is electrically decoupled from the device which is in an OFF state. In the CHARGE position the battery is coupled to a pair of prongs adapted to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Displacement of the switch to the CHARGE position rotates the prongs to an extended position to permit the battery to be recharged by means of a conventional AC outlet. In the ON and OFF positions of the switch, the prongs are retracted within the switch assembly. The switch includes detent means in each of the three aforementioned positions to reduce the possibility of inadvertent re-positioning of the switch and to provide tactile indication to the user of the switch position.
