  • Publication number: 20230125971
Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed to, among other things, utilizing a self-centering user interface to receive information associated with a transaction. For instance, a computing device may receive a first input at a first location of a display. The computing device may then determine a positioning for the user interface, where the user interface may be substantially centered about the first location. In some instances, the computing device may display the user interface using the positioning. The computing device may then receive a second input corresponding to swipe from the first location of the display to a second location of the display. The computing device may then determine a symbol included in the user interface based at least in part on the second input. In some instances, the user interface includes a keypad for entering a personal identification number associated with a payment instrument.

  • Patent number: 11064047
Abstract: Techniques described are directed to accessibility of instant application data via an associated application. In an example, a service provider can cause a first user interface associated with an instant application associated with a particular, discrete functionality of an application to be presented via a first user computing device of a user. The service provider can receive data via an interaction with the first user interface associated with the instant application. The service provider can receive a request to download the application from a second user computing device of the user, cause the application to be downloaded on the second user computing device of the user, and cause the data received via the interaction with the first user interface associated with the instant application to be associated with the application on the second user computing device.

  • Patent number: 10881040
Abstract: An adjustable mobile electrostatic discharge cart that includes at least one extendable support connected to at least one level. One each level, a conductive plate is located on each level and covered by a conductive mat. The plate of each level is connected to a electrostatic ground connected in parallel, so that the connection to the electrostatic ground is continuous as the cart moves and the support extends. At least one caster for mobility is in contact with the floor and conductively connected to the electrostatic ground.

  • Patent number: 10678290
Abstract: A dampened electronic control for manual operation to control a machine includes a housing, a movable element pivotally supported in the housing upon a shaft with a rotation axis, and an electronic sensor configured to detect rotational movement of the shaft. A non-hydraulic damping mechanism is coupled to the moveable element, wherein the damping mechanism includes a piston disposed in a cylinder of the housing and configured to operate with air inside the cylinder as the working fluid and a spring to resiliently bias the piston towards the moveable element. Movement of the moveable element towards the piston causes the piston to compress the air inside the cylinder to thereby provide a resistance force against the moveable element to thereby dampen the movement of the moveable element.

  • Patent number: 10240453
Abstract: A heat sink of solid state phase change material for a heat sensitive downhole tool component. The heat sink may be of a polyhydric alcohol based or other suitable material which is capable of undergoing a phase change from one solid form to another. That is, the phase change material need not undergo a phase change into a liquid form in order to absorb well heat and provide substantial protection to the heat sensitive downhole tool component. Thus, cost effectiveness, manufacturability and performance may all be enhanced which may be particularly advantageous where the component is of a single application use variety.

  • Patent number: 10151181
Abstract: A perforating gun includes a carrier, an explosive charge positioned within the carrier, a detonator positioned within the carrier, and a switch positioned within the carrier. The detonator detonates the explosive charge when the detonator receives power. The switch actuates between at least a first position and a second position. The switch transmits power to the detonator when the switch is in the first position, and the switch transmits power to a pyrotechnic device when the switch is in the second position. The pyrotechnic device detonates or deflagrates when the pyrotechnic device receives power.
