  • Publication number: 20210108320
Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to methods, apparatus, and systems for forming and purifying solid carbon material from a molten carbonate salt electrolyte. Various embodiments also provide methods, apparatus, and systems for recycling certain materials including the carbonate salt electrolyte, carbon dioxide, water, etc. Advantageously, the system utilizes carbon dioxide in one or more processes, for example to purify the solid carbon and regenerate the carbonate salt electrolyte. These methods, apparatus, and systems provide an efficient technique to consume carbon dioxide in the production of solid carbon, with substantial advantages over systems that attempt to form solid carbon from a stream of carbon dioxide provided directly to an electrolysis reactor.

  • Patent number: 9982501
Abstract: A lockable overshot assembly for use in a wireline spearhead system for lowering and retrieving inner tube assemblies and other tools and equipment from a downhole location includes a pair of lifting dogs pivotally mounted to an overshot head on the lockable overshot assembly and configured for latching a spearhead. A locking arrangement is mounted into the elongated body and engagable within the lifting dogs, such that in a locked state the lifting dogs are in latched position and in an unlocked state, allows the lifting dogs to move to the release position. The locking arrangement is a pin, which can be moved laterally to be between the latching dogs to prevent them moving to the release position.

  • Patent number: 9290853
Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to methods and apparatus for forming graphitic material from a carbon oxide feedstock in an electroplating chamber containing molten inorganic carbonate as electrolyte. Carbon dioxide flows into a reaction chamber containing one or more cathodes, one or more anodes, and a molten carbonate electrolyte. The carbon dioxide and/or carbonate reduces at the cathode to form graphitic material, which may be removed from the surface of the cathode through various mechanisms. The graphitic material is then separated out from the electrolyte.

  • Publication number: 20060226099
Abstract: A display holder provides product information to loaders and pickers of products stored on industrial-sized pallet racks in warehouses. The display holder is disposed on a column in a substantially vertical orientation at a height above the floor of the warehouse that is approximately at or near eye level of an operator seated within a fork-lift or like material handling vehicle. The holder displays product information for all goods stored at the various rack elevations adjacent the column of the rack to which the display holder is mounted. Thus, warehouse loaders and pickers can readily determine the particular type of goods stored on the rack adjacent the display holder, and labels can readily be re-applied, as needed.

  • Publication number: 20040255716
Abstract: A cam system enable speed and power generation of a mechanical activity, effected by operation of the cam, to be varyingly adjusted. Cam structures, a cam follower, and a movable cam shaft are used to effect operation of the cam system. A central cam structure receives the cam shaft and move therewith. A side cam structure is positionally varied with respect to the central cam structure for changing the profile of the central cam structure alone and in turn changing in the overall profile followed by the cam follower during movement of the cam shaft and any cam structures related thereto. Changes in profile effected by the positional configuration of the side cam structures effecting variable translational motion to the cam follower during movement of the central cam shaft and cam structures, which enable variation in speed or power of operation of a preferred movement relevant to a mechanical requirement.

  • Patent number: 5983986
Abstract: The invention provides a forced air furnace integrated with a ventilator having a pair of regenerative bed heat exchangers. The heat exchangers alternate between heat recovery and heat release modes such that when one heat exchanger is in the heat release mode the other is in the heat recovery mode. A pair of valve members are fixed on a common shaft to control the alternate switching of recovery and release modes between the two heat exchange beds. The valve members are mounted adjacent to inlet and outlet partitions containing the inlet and outlet ports, respectively, in communication with the heat exchange compartments, and are provided with valve openings which, by rotating the shaft, are brought into alignment with the inlet and outlet ports to direct the fresh and stale air streams through the heat exchange beds.

  • Patent number: 5793218
Abstract: A generic interface test adapter for connecting between a test station and a unit under test. The generic interface test adapter includes an interface frame and an interchangeable circuit card assembly that are configured to route the signals between test station and the unit under test. The interface frame includes an interface plane having a plurality of contact pins or spring-loaded probes, and the circuit card assembly has a plurality of contact pads, aligned to mated with the contact pins. The electrical connections between the test station and the unit under test can be reconfigured merely by changing the interchangeable circuit card assembly. A pressure frame is provided to securely hold the circuit card assembly against the interface plane to provide electrical connection. The pressure frame is pulled toward the interface frame by a cam and angled cam slot mechanism operated by a lever arm.

  • Patent number: 4602452
Abstract: A fishing lure has an elongated body which is reversely curved to dispose inclined end faces of the body on opposite sides of and directed away from a middle portion of the body. The curvature near one end face is greater than the curvature near the other end face. A longitudinally extending passageway in the body threadedly receives a leader used to attach a hook as well as the lure to a fishing line. The arrangement allows the lure to be moved through water in one direction to impart a selected rotative movement to the body and to be moved in the opposite direction to impart a slightly different rotative movement.
