  • Publication number: 20060117676
Abstract: A roof cooling system having quick-erect properties comprising: a high-flow manifold, a plurality of flex hoses, fascia brackets, and sprinkler wands. Fascia brackets are securedly and permanently attached to a building's fascia board. Each of the many sprinkler wands and flex hoses are all assembled to a high-flow manifold, ready for quick connection to a pressurized water supply. Therefore, when needed, the wands are simply engaged to the fascia brackets, the manifold connected to a water source and the system is operational, in mere minutes. When not in use, the system quickly disassembles for storage without hindering the building's aesthetics.

  • Publication number: 20060070993
Abstract: A containment pond comprising: an impermeable membrane having a bottom, and continuous sides forming an open-top container. Each side is adapted with a loop of same impermeable membrane so as to form a sleeve longitudinal to all sides. Each side sleeve is adapted with primary and secondary forming members slidably engaged within each said sleeve. The two primary forming members facing each other have a length equal to its mating sleeve, and the two secondary forming members perpendicular to the primary members are each in two sections, divided at the center of their length. When the secondary forming members are pulled apart slightly from each other, the containment pond can be collapsed into a much smaller package by gathering the secondary center portion toward each other. Conversely, said pond can be erected in mere seconds by reversing the above.

  • Publication number: 20060053699
Abstract: A corner flashing assembly for providing a moisture barrier at corners at the base of a foundation wall. The corner flashing assembly according to the invention comprises an upper corner piece and a lower corner piece. The upper and lower corner pieces are dimensioned such that, when installed, the lower edge of the upper corner piece and the upper edge of the lower corner piece overlap a certain distance, thereby allowing adjustability to accommodate varying dimensions of construction blocks, yet providing an effective moisture barrier. Portions of the corner pieces that will come into contact with mortar are coated with asphalt to improve the adherence of the mortar to the flashing.
