  • Publication number: 20160295860
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition of water-soluble ingredients (CWSI) which when solubilized in water (W) and either in the presence of a wetting agent and/or in the presence of at least one agriculturally acceptable solvent, forms a synergistic composition useful for the control of pathogens and/or the prevention of diseases associated with the presence of said pathogens in and/or on seeds. Said composition of water-soluble ingredients (CWSI) comprises at least one oxidizer in liquid form or solid form, or a precursor thereof in liquid or solid form, said at least one agriculturally acceptable solvent is soluble in water (W); the water-soluble ingredients (CWSI) is dissolved in the water (W), in a weight ratio (CWSI)/(W) ranging from 1:100 to 1:4, and when present, said at least one agriculturally acceptable solvent represents from 2% by volume to 70% by volume of the total volume of the synergistic composition to be formed.

  • Publication number: 20160286800
Abstract: A stabilized oxidizer composition, and method and use for improving disinfection, sanitation and/or disease control, and kit for preparing said composition. A stabilized oxidizer composition and a method for improving the stability and/or efficiency of said oxidizer composition. A powdered composition for the preparation of such stabilized and/or more efficient oxidizer composition. A stabilized and/or more efficient oxidizer composition, and method for improving the stability and pesticidal activity of the oxidant when mixed with other pesticides. Uses and methods involving said stabilized and/or more efficient oxidizer composition, and a kit for the preparation of a stabilized and/or more efficient oxidizer composition, advantageously in order to obtain a more efficient control of pathogens in and on any kind of surfaces in general, preferably on surfaces of the tissues of a growing plant. Preferably, the oxidizer mentioned hereinabove may be peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, or a precursor thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070255249
Abstract: A comprehensive system (10) for the growing, analyzing, storing, validating and distributing of cells or tissues for a variety of purposes, in which the comprehensive system (10) generally uses a macrocontainer (12) for each of the steps from beginning to end. The macrocontainer (12) may include a number of elements, an essential one of which is the primary container (14). In every case, the primary container (14) includes a biosensor and a data registry device (15) (usually a microchip) to record and to display the handling history of the primary container (14) throughout the implementation of the system (10). The macrocontainer (14) provides process control, sterility and a matrix within and around which associated inlets, outlets and data lines may be coordinated.

  • Publication number: 20070098148
Abstract: A removable attachment to a hand held or head held telephone unit has a regenerable or generable aroma releasing capability. The aroma may be initially released automatically and before use by the speaker and/or can be repeatedly released upon speaker action during use. The removable attachment may be as simple as an adhesively secured patch with aroma releasing capability on the surface away from the adhesive or a patch located between moving surface parts of the telephone so that whenever the moving part is moved (e.g., the case opened or closed, a power switch activated, a button positioned over the removable attachment is pressed, etc.), the aroma releasing attachment is stimulated and aroma is released.

  • Publication number: 20060075345
Abstract: A written document (hereinafter referred to as a “work,” on electronic format which includes, stories, novels, education texts, biographies, compilations, collections, anthologies, tracts, and any other traditional format for relatively extensive texts) provides access to reference, bibliography and/or definition material through an electronic software capability associated with the work. Depending upon reader access information or characteristics (e.g., age, grade, proficiency, or position within the work or any other identifiable reader characteristic or access limitation), any request for reference material, definitions, explanations, translations, or other material provided in the associated software capability is automatically limited by system acknowledgement of the reader access information or characteristics. As the reader's access information or characteristics change, the quality and/or quantity and/or format of requested information with respect to a work changes.
