  • Publication number: 20230381706
Abstract: A system for cleaning a filter mounted over an intake opening of an air handling unit. A conduit is secured to an elevated location of the unit and includes a plurality of spaced nozzles arrayed against the filter. A supply tube connects to the conduit for supplying a pressurized fluid through the nozzles in order to clear debris from an exterior of the mounted filter. The pressurized fluid includes either of water or compressed air provided from any of a source or a supply reservoir. A pump is incorporated into the supply tube for pressurizing the fluid. A filter incorporated into the supply tube filters the pressurized fluid prior to delivery to spray issuing conduit.

  • Patent number: 7591870
Abstract: A retrofit installation kit for use with such as an exteriorly located air conditioner condensing unit. The kit includes a flexible filtration screen and a set of customized fasteners which substitute for existing fasteners used to hold together the outer sheathing of the unit frame. The substitution of fasteners for the typical mounting screws utilized in the original unit construction precludes the possibility of such as damaging the unit due to drilling new fastener holes, this running the risk of rupturing fluid coils within the unit, or damaging other sensitive electrical or mechanical components.

  • Publication number: 20050035495
Abstract: A pair of form keys and a method for forming reverse drafts in foam parts are disclosed. A male form key is reciprocally mounted in a first mold half in a retracted position. A female form key is rotatably mounted in a second mold half in a neutral position. The first mold half includes a first drive pin that when engaged, moves the male form key into engagement with a foam sheet to form an undercut as the first and second mold halves are closed. The first mold half also includes a second drive pin that engages the female form key as the first and second mold halves close rotating the female form key into engagement with the foam sheet and the male form key. After closure of the mold and the product is formed, the mold is opened. As this occurs, the drive pins are disengaged and the male form key retracts and the female form key rotates to their neutral positions. The formed product may then be stripped from the mold while maintaining the reverse draft or undercut.

  • Patent number: 6197077
Abstract: A filter screen assembly for mounting over an air intake opening of a structure. The structure has a height, a width and a depth and defines a selected face within which the air intake opening is formed. The selected face further includes a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side surrounding the intake opening. A planar and flexible filtration screen defines a substantially rectangular shape with by a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. Fasteners are provided for securing at least first and second sides of the screen to corresponding sides of the intake structure and include eyelets formed within the screen which are supported upon tubular portions extending from the structure and fasteners which secure within the tubular portions to affix the screen in place.
