Abstract: A chemical reservoir assembly may include a reservoir containing a liquid chemical and a closure sealing off an outlet opening of the reservoir. The closure can include a top wall having an access opening and a sealing disc positioned under the top wall and across the access opening. The sealing disc may include a vent opening positioned under the top wall and offset from the access opening. The sealing disc can be fixedly positioned relative to the top wall and include a compressible material configured to compress in response to a discharge device being inserted into the access opening and pressing against the compressible material. In response to the force of the discharge device, the compressible material can compress to open a venting pathway from the access opening through the at least one vent opening.

Abstract: A wipe dispenser for use in metering out consistent doses of a composition onto a disposable wipe includes a mixing and dispensing assembly. The assembly has a vessel holding a first liquid for the composition and a first pump to convey the first liquid. A bottle having a second pump to convey a second liquid of the composition is stored within the bottle. A funnel arrangement is in downstream communication with the first pump and second pump. The funnel arrangement includes a mixing chamber for mixing the first and second liquids and a dispensing funnel in communication with and downstream of the mixing chamber. A wipe can be pulled through the dispensing funnel and wetted with a mixture of the first liquid and second liquid from the mixing chamber. A push bar attached to the funnel arrangement can selectively apply the force to actuate the first pump and second pump.

A clinical usage hierarchy is created for a practice area that includes multiple organizational levels and substitutable group categories. Data for known, categorizable products is entered into the categories of the clinical usage hierarchy and used to train a machine learning model, which is then deployed on a universal item database to populate the clinical usage hierarchy with all possible substitute items according to available categorization information in the database. This resulting clinical usage hierarchy has populated categories of items used in procedures in the practice area, where each item in a category is substitutable for any other item in that category, and is used to generate a product formulary utilized by physician or healthcare providers when selecting items for a future medical procedure in the practice area.
