  • Publication number: 20100311179
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for measuring the percentage natural of a cleaning composition using radiocarbon dating data. The percentage natural of a cleaning composition is defined as the amount of material that comes from non-petroleum based or derived products. By using radiocarbon data for the entire composition or its individual components one can determine the percentage of materials which are from non-petroleum based or derived products, and calculate the percent Renewable Carbon Index (RCI). The percent RCI can be used to calculate the percent natural of the cleaning composition as defined by the methods of the present invention.

  • Publication number: 20090148342
Abstract: This invention generally relates to compositions and method of producing diluted hypohalous acid and hypohalous acid vapor. These compositions can be used to treat allergen containing surfaces, hard surfaces, food contact surfaces, hospital surfaces, food surfaces, kitchen surfaces, bathroom surfaces, human surfaces, animal surfaces, children's items, outdoor surfaces, soft surfaces, and medical instruments. These compositions can be converted to solid particulate or granular compositions. These compositions can be put into a variety of containers which preserve the stability. These compositions can be used to treat allergens and molds and as part of a mold detection system. These compositions can be dispersed into the air to enable microbiological control.

  • Publication number: 20080003171
Abstract: This invention relates to methods and apparatus for achieving microbiological control, especially using active sources that generate hypochlorous acid vapor. These methods are effective in confined spaces and sealed containers. The active sources may be contained within permeable containers and may be actively dispersed. The active sources may be in the form of solids, liquids or gels.

  • Publication number: 20070231247
Abstract: This invention relates to methods of diluting hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid compositions with purified water to produce stable compositions. These compositions can be used to treat allergen containing surfaces, hard surfaces, food contact surfaces, hospital surfaces, food surfaces, kitchen surfaces, bathroom surfaces, human surfaces, animal surfaces, military equipment, transportation equipment, children's items, plant surfaces, seeds, outdoor surfaces, soft surfaces, air, wounds, and medical instruments.

  • Publication number: 20070134127
Abstract: This invention relates to methods and apparatus for achieving microbiological control, especially using active sources that generate hypochlorous acid vapor with reduced levels of chlorine vapor. These methods are effective in confined spaces and sealed containers. The active sources may be contained within permeable containers and may be actively dispersed. The active sources may be in the form of solids, liquids or gels.

  • Publication number: 20050232848
Abstract: This invention relates to packaging for dilute hypochlorite and hypochlorous acid compositions to produce stable compositions. Container materials can be mulilayer with additives such as opacifiers, colorants, and UV inhibitors in the intermediate or outer layers. Additionally, labels with opacifiers, colorants, and UV inhibitors can improve stability. These compositions can be used to treat allergen containing surfaces, hard surfaces, food contact surfaces, hospital surfaces, food surfaces, kitchen surfaces, bathroom surfaces, human surfaces, animal surfaces, military equipment, transportation equipment, children's items, plant surfaces, seeds, outdoor surfaces, soft surfaces, air, wounds, and medical instruments.
