Abstract: Sports specific movement emulators are disclosed that permit an athlete to practice and develop specific motions needed to participate skillfully and at a high level in a particular sport. The emulators have designs that force the user to train and strengthen sports specific muscles in the lower body safely and repetitively. Examples of such emulators include golf swing trainers and running trainers.

Abstract: A limb movement exercising and training apparatus having a cable connected, at one end, to a weight plate and connected, at the other end, to a rotatable cam rail. A pivotal swing arm is connected to the cam rail to rotate the cam rail upon pivotal motion of the swing arm. Rotation of the cam rail pulls the cable and lifts the weight plate. A handle, or other suitable structure, is connected to the swing arm so as to pivot the swing arm and rotate the cam rail as a user moves a limb in an exercise or training motion. The outer peripheral shape of the cam rail and/or the location of the axis of rotation of the cam rail may be designed to require varying amounts of work or power to rotate the cam rail as the cam rail is rotated by varying degrees of rotation. Adjustment structure allows the height and angle of the cam rail and swing arm to be adjusted.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an exercise device. It includes an I shaped base; a seat of a first length; a pad of a second length, the pad being at least 1/5 the length of the seat. The pad is adjustably located with respect to the seat. Further there are adjustable support means attached between said seat and said base. With this construction, the seat may be angularly adjusted with respect to the base and the pad may be adjusted along various planes with respect to the seat.
