Publication number: 20160138613Abstract: An electrical submersible pump assembly has modules including a pump, a motor, and a seal section. A threaded connection between at least two of the modules has a first adapter and a second adapter. A collar rotatably carried and axially movable on one of the adapters is in threaded engagement with threads of the other adapter when the threaded connection is made up. First adapter lugs are spaced circumferentially apart from each other around the first adapter. Second adapter slots are spaced circumferentially apart from each other around the second adapter. The lugs slide into the slots while the adapters are brought together. Each of the lugs and each of the slots have side edges that are parallel with the axis. The side edges of the lugs abut the side edges of the slots to prevent rotation of the first and second adapters relative to each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2015Publication date: May 19, 2016Inventors: Ryan P. Patent number: 7509672Abstract: Systems and methods of authentication and data sharing across applications and platforms based on a single authentication are described. The systems and methods allow a user, based on a single log on to an application, to be automatically logged on to other applications and to fetch and store preference, state, and setting data across enterprise computing systems that include multiple computing platforms and applications. A data registry stores authentication and non-authentication data. An interface for automatically executing authentication transactions for the applications and facilitating the share of non-authentication data is also provided. The non-authentication data is user configurable to provide flexible application support across the enterprise, such as through the preservation of state information, preferences, settings, and application data across multiple computers.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2004Date of Patent: March 24, 2009Assignee: Compuware CorporationInventors: Michael A. Patent number: 6954758Abstract: A Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that dynamically builds predictive models. The system is used by business users who are unfamiliar with the art of data mining. A model-building mechanism in a data mining subsystem is presented with a training segment consisting of records with appropriate input attributes and an output attribute to be predicted; the model-building mechanism builds a model in the form of a business measure that can subsequently be applied to make predictions against other like segments.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2000Date of Patent: October 11, 2005Assignee: NCR CorporationInventor: Kenneth W. Patent number: 5721903Abstract: A system and method for generating a report for a user which allows the user to make decisions, without requiring the user to understand or interpret data itself. A database management program executed by a server within a system for generating the report for the user includes a first subsystem for translating user requests for data, for generating dimensional queries for retrieving data from a database, and for processing user modifications to data types used in generating the report. A second subsystem coupled to the first subsystem reads data from the database, creates the data types, creates a mapping of the data types to the data, uses the mapping to translate user-initiated dimensional queries received from the first subsystem into Structured Query Language (SQL), and returns query results to the first subsystem. A third subsystem creates the report at a predetermined time.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 1995Date of Patent: February 24, 1998Assignee: NCR CorporationInventors: Tejwansh S. Anand, Michael A.
