  • Patent number: 5281761
Abstract: A grounding clamp for permitting the grounding of an electrical cable provided with a 2-hole compression connector allowing the grounding of this cable to a metallic pipe. A mechanical clamp provided with a saddle portion and one or more U-bolts is mounted to the pipe. The mechanical clamp is provided with a mounting pad onto which the compression conductor is also mounted. A connection system is provided between the mounting pad and the compression lug allowing the electrical cable to be angled at different directions with respect to the metallic pipe.

  • Patent number: 4696449
Abstract: A security device for personal computers, computer peripherals and similar valuable but readily portable units of equipment includes a tray secured to a working surface by bolts on which the unit is to be used, the tray being of a size to accommodate the unit and having front and back flanges and upward extension from its side walls to restrain the unit from horizontal movement without interference with its functions, the extensions being linked by a normally locked releasable cross bar placed so as to retain the unit in the tray covering the bolts, again without frictional interference with the unit. The tray of one device may be bolted to the cross bar of another security device, as when a monitor is stacked on a computer. The cross bar is preferably hinged to one upward extension and secured to the other by a tamper resistant screw, access to which is through a housing blocked by a removable lock plug and having an axis which is not coincident with that of the screw.

  • Patent number: 4175246
Abstract: A magnetron energizing circuit preferably uses two transformers of the high leakage reactance type having isolated secondaries with an end terminal of each secondary connected to a common point which is at ground potential. The secondaries are connected to series condensers in two loops which provide leading current flowing in the secondaries at all times while both are connected in the circuit to produce saturation in the respective cores of the secondaries whereby to achieve substantially constant current and good regulation for variations in the primary voltage. A single magnetron is served by the circuit and variations in the loading of the magnetron are also compensated for by virtue of the substantially constant current circuit. The secondaries are connected in opposite phase with respect to the respective capacitors which they serve to charge to obtain a full wave doubler operation when the transformers are both in circuit but with low peak current.
