  • Publication number: 20170235880
Abstract: Features are disclosed for remote storage of medical information in a cloud service, and the systems and methods for sending, receiving, and accessing the data into and from the cloud server. A user may identify DICOM studies stored in a database at a medical data repository to be exported. The cloud service or an on-site unit at the medical data repository may search databases at the medical data repository for related medical information to identified DICOM studies. The identified DICOM studies and the related medical information may be burned into portable storage or combined into a virtual package to be uploaded to the cloud service. The cloud service may receive one or more recipients to grant access to the uploaded virtual package, and may send an email to the one or more recipients indicating that virtual package may now be accessed.

  • Publication number: 20170237606
Abstract: Some of the embodiments herein provide a seamless cloud of storage. This storage may be content-addressable storage. An end application may or may not be exposed to the fact that content-addressable storage is used. Various embodiments herein provide event notification, which may allow applications or users to subscribe to particular events (such as storage of an X-ray by a particular entity). Some embodiments provide for a shared archive. A shared archive may provide homogeneous access to medical data, etc. that was previously stored into the CAS cloud by heterogeneous applications, varied data types, etc. Additionally, embodiments herein allow for the creation and distribution of virtual packages. For example, a user may create a virtual package for all images related to a patient so that she may have a virtual package of all of her medical data to present to a referring physician.

  • Publication number: 20150320385
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for accessible and reliable routine health monitoring and noninvasive detection and early diagnosis of diseases and conditions. In one implementation, a health monitoring device is provided. The health monitoring device includes a light source configured to emit photons into an optical waveguide, which internally reflects the photons. A compliant surface is compressible against the optical waveguide during a scan of tissue. The compression of the compliant surface against the optical waveguide scatters at least one of the photons into the tissue and/or back through the optical waveguide. An imaging array is configured to collect the at least one scattered photon, forming an image representing a hardness of the tissue relative to surrounding tissue.

  • Patent number: 8867304
Abstract: A technique for memory command throttling in a partitioned memory subsystem includes accepting, by a master memory controller included in multiple memory controllers, a synchronization command. The synchronization command includes command data that includes an associated synchronization indication (e.g., synchronization bit(s)) for each of the multiple memory controllers and each of the multiple memory controllers controls a respective partition of the partitioned memory subsystem. In response to receiving the synchronization command, the master memory controller forwards the synchronization command to the multiple memory controllers. In response to receiving the forwarded synchronization command each of the multiple memory controllers de-asserts an associated status bit. In response to receiving the forwarded synchronization command, each of the multiple memory controllers determines whether the associated synchronization indication is asserted.
