Abstract: We disclose a water-based solution containing xylitol that helps reduce the risk of dental problems. The solution may be pre-packaged in a readably consumable form, or it may be packaged as a concentrate that can be added to beverage at the time of consumption. In addition to xylitol, other additives may be added to the solution including fluoride, flavoring, vitamins, caffeine, carbonation, electrolytes, minerals, sugars, and sugar alcohols.
