A method for implementing an automobile status recorder includes collecting, with one or more sensors, one or more statuses of a vehicle. The method includes creating a time field for each of the one or more statuses. The method includes storing the one or more statuses in a storage that is configured to retrieve statuses based on a time range. The method includes generating a notification when the one or more statuses meet a condition and transmitting the notification to the mobile device.
