  • Patent number: 7094039
Abstract: A heat-dissipating fan of the invention has an axle, a bearing, a rotor and a stator. The axle and the bearing are made of a ceramic material, and are located at a central location of the rotor and the stator. The bearing is a hollow cylinder integrally formed into a single body, and has a central hole and a recess at its bottom. The axle penetrates through the central hole of the bearing to contact the recess. A magnetic force center of the silicon steel sheet is at a level lower than that of the magnetic bar to generate radial and axial force components, allowing stable rotation of the rotor. The heat-dissipating fan of the invention provides advantages such as low friction, lower noise, low energy consumption, high performance and high stability.

  • Publication number: 20050053498
Abstract: An actuating structure for a rotation apparatus such as a fan. The actuating structure has a spindle passing through a coil. The coil is installed in the fan to generate a magnetic field between the coil and a permanent magnet disposed within the fan, so as to cause rotation of the fan. No bearing is required or installed between the spindle and the coil, while two ends of the spindle are rotatably fixed within the actuating structure. Therefore, the area for installing the coil is increased, and the area for the silicon steel of the coil is enlarged. Therefore, the magnetic field generated thereby is increased to increase the rotation torque of the fan. The rotation of the fan is thus optimized.

  • Patent number: 6790003
Abstract: A cooling fan having flashing light effect, having a fan base, a set of blades and a plurality of light emitting diodes. The fan base further comprises a plurality of supporting levers connected to a common base. Circular axial perforation is formed in the common base, and a plurality of slots and light guides are installed near a periphery of the common base. Each light emitting diode is embedded in the corresponding slot and electrically connected to the circuit board of the set of blades.
