  • Publication number: 20240379101
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing notifications are provided. An example method includes, at a first device, detecting an event; in response to detecting the event, determining whether the first electronic device is actively connected to an audio device; in accordance with a determination that the first device is actively connected to the audio device, providing an audio output corresponding to the event; and in accordance with a determination that the first device is not actively connected to the audio device: determining whether a second device is actively connected to the audio device; in accordance with a determination that the second device is actively connected to the audio device, causing the second device to provide the audio output; and in accordance with a determination that the second device is not actively connected to the audio device, forgoing causing the second device to provide the audio output.

  • Publication number: 20220374727
Abstract: This relates generally to intelligent automated assistants and, more specifically, to provide intelligent device selections by the intelligent automated assistants for performing requested actions. An example method includes, at an electronic device receiving a user request from a user, identifying the user, a domain type of the user request, and one or more electronic devices available for handling the user request; retrieving one or more historical interactions involving at least one of the identified user, the domain type, and the one or more electronic devices, generating metadata based on the one or more historical interactions, location information of the one or more electronic devices, and context information associated with the one or more electronic devices; identifying a delivery device by interpreting the metadata using a preference model; and transmitting a response command to the delivery device for providing the result output.

  • Publication number: 20190258730
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by one or more processors, a plurality of data values generated by one or more functional apparatuses. The processors group sets of data values from the plurality of data values. The processors, for each set of data values, determine a number of data values that pass a first predetermined threshold value, create a data point comprising the number of data values in the set of data values, a start time, and an end time, and store the data point when the number of data values in the data point pass a second predetermined threshold value. The processors analyze a group of data points created in step c) to determine if a total number of data values in the group of data points pass a criteria. The processors perform additional processing, if the total number of data values passes the criteria.

  • Patent number: 9801716
Abstract: A system and method including a guide wire having a plurality of sensors attached near an end of the guide wire, and a processor configured to determine a position of a body component and a position of a catheter moving along the guide wire based on the signals received from the plurality of sensors. Feedback information can be generated based on these determined positions to help guide a medical procedure.
