The adjustment mechanism includes a revolving member having a shaft, a left-side arm having a first end that rotatively connects the first display unit and a second end that rotatively connects the revolving member, and a right-side arm having a third end that rotatively connects the second display unit and a fourth end that rotatively connects the revolving member. When the revolving member revolves around the shaft, the first and second display units slide by a same distance from the shaft in the longitudinal way along the guide.

    Abstract: A headphone includes an acoustic pipe, a loudspeaker unit, a microphone unit and a feedback circuit. The acoustic pipe has an inner diameter substantially equal to that of an external auditory canal. The acoustic pipe has a mounting portion provided at an end thereof for being mounted on the outer ear and has an acoustically non-reflective end at the other end thereof. The loudspeaker unit is provided on one side of the acoustic pipe with a sound emitting face thereof opposed to the inside of the acoustic pipe. The microphone unit is provided on the one side of the acoustic pipe with a sound collecting face thereof opposed to the inside of the acoustic pipe. The feedback circuit feeds back an output signal of the microphone unit to an input side of the loudspeaker unit. The feedback circuit includes an equalizing section. The output signal of the microphone unit is supplied to the loudspeaker unit by way of the equalizing section.

This headphone apparatus further includes an equalizer having a frequency characteristic substantially opposite to that of the filter, wherein an input audio signal is added to the negative feedback loop through the equalizer and then output from the speaker unit.

The received infrared radiation is demodulated into the audio signal, which is then supplied through a power amplifier to a loudspeaker unit or a headphone unit. The wireless receiver includes a detector for detecting whether or not the infrared radiation is received. An output signal from the detector is used to turn the power supply of the FM receiver and the power amplifier on or off. The user of the wireless receiver is not required to turn the receiver on and off manually.
