  • Patent number: 9669438
Abstract: [Object] To provide a rolling apparatus that enables an operator to recognize the rolling status such as the behavior of the steel sheet entering the rolling stand and enables a stable rolling process. [Solution] A rolling apparatus 10 includes a plurality of rolling stands 11 each including a pair of rolling mills 12, and an imaging unit 15 provided between adjacent rolling stands 11A and 11B, the imaging unit 15 being configured to image a steel sheet 1 entering a pair of rolling mills 12B of the rolling stand 11B from an upstream side of the rolling stand 11A located on a downstream side in a rolling direction.

  • Patent number: 8899667
Abstract: A vehicle rear body part includes a rear side member provided on both sides of a rear floor and a lower part of a back door opening section higher than the rear side member. The rear floor is divided into a main rear floor panel and left and right side rear floor panels with the rear side member placed therebetween. In the rear side member, rear side member upper panels are configured to close an opening in an upper part and joined to flanges on both the left and right sides. Upright sections are provided at rear ends of the rear side member upper panels. The upright sections are joined to a lower part of the opening section. The upper panels, the rear side member, and the floor panels and are joined in three layers in the flanges of the upper panels.

  • Publication number: 20110105656
Abstract: The invention has for its object to provide a colloidal crystal gel with which any enclosure structure is dispensed with, its production process, and an optical device using the same. The colloidal crystal gel (100) of the invention is characterized in that fine particles (110) are self-organizingly and periodically lined up in a polymer gel (120), and an ion liquid (130) is contained in the polymer gel (120). The production process is characterized in that after the fine particles (110) are self-organizingly and periodically lined up and fixed by the polymer gel (12), the polymer gel is impregnated with the ion liquid (130). The optical device is characterized in that the colloidal crystal gel is used for control of transmission, reflection and diffraction of light and for frequency conversion of light. See FIG. 1.

  • Publication number: 20060144319
Abstract: Gelled colloidal crystals obtained by ultraviolet irradiation gelation means proposed so far in the art are inadequate in term of homogeneous gelation as far as their deep portions, and gelled colloidal crystals obtained by use of gelation means relying upon a light source in the visible light range in place of that ultraviolet irradiation has several problems such as difficulty with selection of polymerization initiators and generation of gas bubbles. The object of the invention is to provide a colloidal crystal gelled homogeneously to within, from which those problems are eliminated. To this end, a colloidal solution using an aqueous liquid as a disperse medium with a monomer or macromer added thereto and camphorquinone, riboflavin or their derivative contained therein as a polymerization initiator is irradiated with light having a wavelength component in the range of at least 400 nm to 500 nm for the purpose of gelation, thereby providing a solution to the aforesaid problems.
