  • Patent number: 9973676
Abstract: Provided is an interchangeable lens digital camera that is capable of correcting a rolling shutter distortion in a live view image without delay in displaying the image. At the start of live view imaging, a lens controller in an interchangeable lens controls a shake detection sensor to detect the direction and amount of a shake, and produces deviation information on the basis of shake detection signals from the shake detection sensor, the deviation information indicating fluctuation in direction and amount of the shake for one frame of the live view image in the form of a parameter. The deviation information is transmitted to a body controller of a camera body through a serial communication unit, to correct the rolling shutter distortion on the basis of the deviation information.

  • Patent number: 9794458
Abstract: A camera system, a camera body, and a communication method capable of satisfactorily acquiring lens information necessary for image processing or the like for a frame of a video from an interchangeable lens are provided. Three-wire serial communication is performed in which a request signal is transmitted to the interchangeable lens in synchronization with a synchronization signal (VSYNC) of an imaging element in a video recording mode, and a response signal is received from the interchangeable lens. In a communication mode in the video recording mode, the number of transmissions of a first request signal relating to acquisition of lens information such as a focus position, a diaphragm value, and a zoom position is limited. Accordingly, communication other than communication relating to acquisition of lens information can be performed in a period of one frame.

  • Publication number: 20170293106
Abstract: A focusing control device includes a filter processing unit 11a which performs first filter processing selected from among a plurality of kinds of filter processing on each of a first signal group output from a plurality of phase difference detection pixels 52A and a second signal group output from a plurality of phase difference detection pixels 52B, a correlation calculation unit 11b which performs correlation calculation of the first signal group after the first filter processing and the second signal group after the first filter processing, and a lens position control unit 11c which controls a position of a focus lens based on the result of the correlation calculation. The filter processing unit 11a selects the first filter processing from among the plurality of kinds of filter processing based on subject condition information.

  • Patent number: 9723207
Abstract: Provided is an imaging device that prevents glare resulting from light that leaks out from a subject display area of a display section in an OVF mode. A finder device can be switched between the OVF mode and an EVF mode. A subject display area and an information display area are set in an EVFLCD. In the OVF mode, nothing is displayed in the subject display area of the EVFLCD, and an information image is displayed in the information display area. An EVF shutter is set such that the light transmittance of a first area, which corresponds to the subject display area, becomes a low transmittance and the light transmittance of a second area, which corresponds to the information display area, becomes a high transmittance. The first area, which is set at low transmittance, blocks light that leaks from the subject display area.

  • Publication number: 20170004777
Abstract: This finder display device is provided with a liquid crystal panel, a backlight, and a light source driving section. The backlight has a light guide having a side near which first to sixth light sources are disposed. The light source driving section sets the first and fifth light sources as a first sub-light source group, the second and sixth light sources as a second sub-light source group, and the third and fourth light sources as a third sub-light source group, and periodically supplies driving pulses to the first to third sub-light source groups at respectively different timings. The light source driving section controls the amounts of light of the light source groups by changing the pulse widths of the driving pulses.
