    Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a disk device including a disk medium, a command queue, and a controller. The disk medium stores data in accordance with addresses. Into the command queue, commands are enqueued in order. The controller regroups a plurality of groups grouped correspondingly to the addresses in the disk medium in response to a command enqueued into the command queue or a command dequeued from the command queue, and performs a process for the command queue based on the regrouped plurality of groups.
