    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a medical information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to derive an index value with respect to noise included in data associated with magnetic resonance signals collected by each of a plurality of reception coils, adjust a degree to which noise is removed from the data associated with the magnetic resonance signals based on the derived index value, remove noise from the data associated with the magnetic resonance signals based on the adjusted degree, and perform compositing of the data associated with the magnetic resonance signals from which noise has been removed.

The apparatus includes a placement part configured to rotate the substrate, a liquid supply part configured to supply a liquid via a nozzle to the frozen film including the contaminant, a moving part configured to move the nozzle parallel to the substrate surface, and a controller configured to control a rotation of the substrate by the placement part, a supply of the liquid by the liquid supply part, and a movement of the nozzle by the moving part. The controller rotates the substrate by controlling the placement part, supplies the liquid to the frozen film by controlling the liquid supply part, and moves the nozzle from a perimeter edge vicinity to a rotation center vicinity of the substrate by controlling the moving part.

    Abstract: In a positioning device, a maximum-value/minimum-value calculating section calculates the maximum value and minimum value of densities with respect to each of a target image and a reference image that has been preliminarily stored. Further, based upon the maximum values and minimum values of densities of the two images, a barrel-shifter gradation conversion section carries out bit shifts of the original images of the two images respectively so as to allow them to contain effective bits related to contrast, and gradation-converts the respective images so as to have numbers of density levels that are fewer than the original numbers of density levels thereof, thereby outputting the resulting images that have been gradation-converted.
