  • Publication number: 20240097458
Abstract: A control device includes a power storage unit, a balance processing unit, and a control unit. The power storage unit includes a plurality of battery cells, and supplies power to a load. In a case where the load stops, the balance processing unit can execute balance processing of reducing variation in the voltage of each of the plurality of battery cells according to the degree of the variation in the voltage. The control unit generates, for display, a state image indicating the state of the variation according to the degree of the variation.

  • Publication number: 20130324252
Abstract: A first determination unit determines whether or not an operation target of a user is included in a target region that is set based on the position of a game event occurring place. A second determination unit determines whether or not a time of determination that the operation target of the user is included in the target region is before arrival of a game event occurring time. An inducing processing execution unit executes inducing processing for inducing the user to keep the operation target of the user staying in the target region until the arrival of the game event occurring time, in a case where it is determined that the above-described time is before the arrival of the game event occurring time.

  • Patent number: 6915488
Abstract: A display device system for driving a display having one of a plurality of predetermined sizes provides a scalable instruction picture to instruct an operator in operation of input devices. The system includes a device for accepting an operator input selecting a scaling factor to adjust the size of the instruction picture such that indicators in the instruction picture are arranged at spacings substantially equal to spacing of the input devices. In an embodiment, the size of the instruction picture is only adjusted in a width wise horizontal direction. Furthermore, scaling indicators corresponding to a plurality of predetermined display sizes are optionally provided to permit the user to select a scaling factor corresponding to the display.

  • Patent number: 6821203
Abstract: To enable mark-up (i.e., scoring) of improvised (i.e., ad-libbed) musical performance and enable a player to enjoy performance with a degree of freedom in accordance with a performance instruction, a CPU (10) marks up improvised musical performance provided by a player using an actual keyboard (90) (step S920). Hence, a player accustomed to playing a keyboard (80) can be satisfied sufficiently.

  • Patent number: 6638160
Abstract: A game system allows timing adjustment for reducing inaccuracy in timing evaluation of an operation performed by a player. The game system includes a storage device for storing reference data defining timing of at least one operation to be performed by a player on an input device associated with an elapsed time from a predetermined position serving as a reference, and an operation instruction device for instructing the player operation timing based on the reference data. An operation detection device detects actual timing of an operation performed on the input device by the player, and an evaluation device evaluates the detected operation by comparing the timing of the operation defined in the reference data and the detected timing. An adjustment value setting device allows the player to correct an evaluation result, and an adjustment execution device changes the operation timing with the predetermined position being used as a reference.

  • Patent number: 6347998
Abstract: In a game system, performance data which stipulates sequences of manipulations and allocation of sound effects for the manipulations can be set practically. The game system has memory device which stores performance data stipulating manipulations of a controller provided in correspondence with a predetermined musical piece; the performance data comprises information specifying a manipulation timing relating to at least one timing manipulation member provided on the controller, and information specifying which one of a plurality of selection manipulation members provided on the controller is to be manipulated in correspondence with the manipulation of the timing manipulation member; either one of the information specifying the manipulation timing included in the performance data and the information specifying the selection manipulation member can be edited independently of the other based on a command supplied via the controller by a player.
