  • Publication number: 20220397300
Abstract: A damper inspection system for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a fuse link sensor configured to couple to a damper. The fuse link sensor includes a first contact and a second contact. The fuse link sensor is configured to transition between an engaged configuration in which the first contact is electrically coupled to the second contact and a disengaged configuration in which the first contact is electrically decoupled from the second contact. The damper inspection system includes a remote controller that includes control circuitry configured to electrically couple to the first contact and the second contact and to determine an operational status of a fuse link of the damper based on an electrical continuity between the first contact and the second contact.

  • Patent number: 11058933
Abstract: A golf putter head that can improve the golfer's ability by providing function features that create a consistent setup of putter head position in relation to the golf ball and golfer position in relation to the putter. Once the setup is consistent, further increase in the consistency of the golfer's stroke can be attained through building muscle memory. From the putter stroke, the hitting face can impart an accurate forward motion to the golf ball upon being stricken by the putter head. The putter can provide tactile feedback to the golfer during the golf swing while imparting a forward roll to the golf ball upon striking and can simplify the visual alignment of the putter head to the golf ball.

  • Patent number: 9135771
Abstract: A memento dispensing device for dispensing mementos in the form of tokens, medallions, souvenirs, and other articles or objects having commemorative value through the simulated operation of a gaming device commonly referred to and known in the art as a slot machine. Instructive steps set forth in a computer program, as executed and controlled by a main microcontroller, serve to direct and command the memento dispensing device to dispense at least one memento to the consumer or operator upon the consummation of a spin cycle for a set of mechanical reel wheels or simulated reel wheels on a video display. The main microcontroller, operating under the direction of the computer program, further directs the timed playback of video and audio stored on recognizable formats and activates lights at select moments during operation and after every instance the memento is dispensed from the memento dispensing device.

  • Patent number: 5892570
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for the evaluation and measurement of metamorphopsia. The apparatus includes a pattern generator that displays a deformable pattern, such as an Amsler grid, on a computer monitor. The rectilinear grid includes substantially parallel and equally spaced lines that intersect at vertices. An input device, such as a mouse, is used by a patient or technician to detect areas of the pattern where the cursor is not visible to the subject, so that areas of scotoma can be marked. The input device is also used to adjust the positions of the vertices, and distort the grid, until the grid appears substantially rectilinear to the subject. The deformations of the pattern are then recorded, and can be retrieved for comparison to subsequent test results so that changes in visual field deficits or metamorphopsia can be sensitively detected, and even corrected by a lens that distorts images in the same pattern.

  • Patent number: 5363297
Abstract: A system for the accumulation of detailed moment-to-moment information concerning the movements of players and of the ball in a sporting contest. One or more cameras (11, 12, 14) are situated so as to cover the entire playing area (10) of the event. The output of at least one of these cameras is provided to a digital image processor (22), which tracks the movements of the images, or silhouettes, of players in the camera images. By employing multiple camera views of the same playing area, the tracking processor can, in most cases, resolve ambiguities arising from overlaps in any one view. For the remaining, unresolved, cases, one or more human operators, provided with the same or similar camera views, are employed, through an interactive interface. The operators are provided with apparatus (30) for identifying players, through a query/response method, as requested by the tracking processor (22).
