    Abstract: A device for dispensing items over a programmable time so treats, toys or other items can be inserted into the dispenser, and then dispensed to pets throughout a period of time. The device can be placed out of reach of pets and then populated with items. A timer is used to actuate a dispensing unit either in intervals of gradually so that the contents are dispensed over a period of time. The device may include audible signal or odor generators to help draw attention when a device is going to be dispensed.
