  • Patent number: 11917510
Abstract: One or more Bluetooth® low energy (BLE) beacons in communication with a remote server that provides check in capabilities and payment capabilities may be installed at a location. The BLE beacons may connect with a user's mobile device when the user enters the location and allow the user to check in to the location and authorize payments to be made at the location. Once the user is checked in to the location, the user may be provided with additional functionality, benefits, offers, and applications related to the location and facilitated by the check in. Further, the user may be pre-checked in into a next location when the user is at a current location.

  • Patent number: 10349641
Abstract: A fishing trap runner and fishing trap incorporating the runner, the runner comprising a rubber casing having a core. The core, which may be sectional, provides weight so that the runner can serve as ballast for the fishing trap. The rubber casing protects the core from damaging the trap or fishing equipment and, if the core is sealed by the casing, protects or limits the core from water damage.

  • Patent number: 8439130
Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for obtaining formation data while drilling. The apparatus may include a drill string and a plurality of sensors. At least two of the plurality of sensors are spaced apart along the drill string a approximately the same distance as a length of a segment of the drill string. The segment of the drill string is either added to or removed from the rest of the drill string as the drill string moves in the borehole during a drilling operation. The method may include providing numerous sensors along a drill string and repeating a cycle of various functions. The cycle may include performing an operation moving the drill string relative to the borehole and stopping movement of the drill string. Additional functions may include changing an overall length of the drill string and performing the formation property while the drill string is relatively stationary.
