Abstract: A hydraulic pressure relief tool including a quick coupler component, either male or female, which has been modified by removing the valve and substituting a screw threaded member threaded in the quick coupler component oriented in the same position as the removed valve. This enables the screw threaded member to engage and open the valve in the quick coupler component connected with the hose when the tool is connected thereto to relieve hydraulic pressure in the hose. The screw threaded member is provided with a T-handle for ease of rotation thereof.
