Abstract: A method for determining power state parameters related to a turbine when performing coiled tubing drilling within a wellbore at a wellsite. The method may include receiving data related to a drill string within the wellbore and a media being pumped into the wellbore, determining a downhole density and a downhole flowrate of a gas portion and a liquid portion of a media being pumped to a turbine within the wellbore based on the received data. The method also includes combining the determined downhole density and flowrates of the gas and liquid portions of the media to provide a downhole density and flowrate of the media, determining a power state parameter related to the turbine, and then adjusting an operation of the drill string in real time in response to the determined power state parameter. The power state parameter may be displayed on a screen.
