  • Patent number: 11937810
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods described herein relate to endovascular devices for delivering sutures for securing grafts or other objects to patient vessels. In some embodiments, a suture includes a set of two legs having proximal ends joined to each other and elongate bodies that extend parallel to one another such that the set of two legs form a U-shaped structure. A suture delivery system can include a housing configured to contain a suture in a flattened configuration, and a deployment element having a ribbon-shaped distal portion disposed in the housing and including a set of formations, where the housing and the set of formations of the deployment element are configured to collectively constrain the suture in the flattened configuration until the suture is released through the opening of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20200262647
Abstract: The purpose of the infinity bag invention is to evolve the process of single use trash bags. By evolving this process, consumers will have a more convenient way to take out the trash, while saving time and hassle. The Infinity Bag is uniquely folded, rolled (2,2?) and packaged and uses adhesive technology (4,4?) to connect single trash bags together in a pre nested order creating the continuous connection. Pre nested bags allow the consumer to be provided a new bag instantly, when a full trash bag is removed. Removing the time and hassle of locating the box or roll and putting a new trash bag in each use. Other benefits for the consumer include the easy ability of double bagging heavy loads of trash. When a full bag is lifted, a new bag is instantly provided, which can be detached and placed around the full trash bag.

  • Publication number: 20170059058
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a needle valve that generally includes a valve seat, a first stem in threaded engagement with a first stem thread, and a second stem in threaded engagement with a second stem thread. Rotation of the first stem advances the first stem and the second stem towards the valve seat by a distance that is equal to a combined thread pitch of the first stem thread and the second stem thread. Engagement of the first and second stems during rotation of the first stem defines a dual thread actuation mechanism.

  • Patent number: 8146988
Abstract: A vehicle seat that strokes during an energy absorption process is able to reset. The seat can therefore stroke again, in the same stroking volume, for example during a secondary ground impact after a mine blast. An energy absorber associated with the seat is operative to absorb energy once during the first stroke and is also operative to absorb energy a second time when the seat strokes a second time.

  • Publication number: 20090211264
Abstract: Industrial gas customer station components comprising a plurality of cryogenic storage tanks each having top and bottom nozzles in flow communication with first and second tank piping connection points, respectively, disposed at a defined distance apart, thereby providing standardized first and second tank piping connection points, and a plurality of piping skids each comprising first and second pipe sections having first and second ends, the first ends thereof defining first and second piping skid connection points disposed at a defined distance apart, thereby providing standardized first and second piping skid connection points. The defined distances between the respective first and second piping skid connection points and the first and second tank piping connection points are essentially equal.

  • Publication number: 20090113712
Abstract: Method of designing a customer station adapted to receive a cryogenic liquid, store the cryogenic liquid, discharge the cryogenic liquid after storage, and either provide the cryogenic liquid as a liquid product to a user or vaporize the cryogenic liquid to provide a gas product to a user. The method comprises selecting design parameters including product type, range of product flow rates, and required pipe diameters and piping types. Standardized piping skids are designed for one or more of the combinations of product type, pipe size, and pipe type. The product requirements of a user are defined, the type of cryogenic liquid storage tank is determined, and a piping skid design for the required service is selected from the standardized piping skid designs. The customer station then is designed using the selected standardized piping skid design and the selected type of cryogenic storage tank.

  • Publication number: 20070167687
Abstract: A web-based, interactive diagnosis, referral and reference system is used by physicians, patients, and others in the health care field to serve as a diagnostic, evaluation, and utilization tool/guide. The user may enter answer a series of guided questions to reach a diagnosis, obtain a physician referral and/or review literature and other reference materials on conditions. A method and device for left ventricular reconstruction is also disclosed. The device includes a curved needle or introducer which is inserted into one ventricle, through the septum and into the other ventricle. An anchor is then used to fold and hold the wall of the heart inward, thereby reducing the volume of the ventricle.

  • Patent number: 7180302
Abstract: A ceramic armor system with built-in conductive circuit attached to a ceramic component. The conductive circuit can be accessed by a user at contacts provided in the system. The circuit is arranged so that damage such as cracks that occurs within the ceramic component can propagate into the conductive material forming the circuit and thereby cause a rupture in the conductive circuit. An electrical probe such as an ohmmeter is used to measure the conductive circuit resistance that is then checked against an expected value. The results are used to determine if the ceramic armor component is in operable condition.

  • Publication number: 20040085082
Abstract: A clock generation circuit for providing high-frequency scan testability with a low-speed tester includes a clock selector and control logic. The clock selector receives a reference clock signal and a high-frequency clock signal and produces an output signal selected from the reference clock signal and the high-frequency clock signal based on a clock selector control signal. The control logic that receives a capture signal and produces the clock selector control signal to modify the clock selector output signal in response to the capture signal. The clock selector output signal may be used to provide high-frequency scan testability with a low-speed tester.
