  • Patent number: 11976179
Abstract: Provided is a particle material that achieves excellent mechanical properties and optical properties when dispersed in a transparent resin material in order to solve the problem. In a case where primary particles having particle sizes in a certain range are formed into an aggregate, mechanical properties are enhanced while optical properties are maintained. The primary particles each have compositions different between the inside thereof and the surface thereof. Therefore, the optical properties to be obtained are easily controlled unlike an inorganic substance in which both of the compositions are mixed at an atomic level. The particle material of the present invention is an aggregate including primary particles in which a specific surface area. diameter is not less than 0.8 nm and not greater than 80 nm, the primary particles formed of an inorganic substance in which a composition of a surface and a composition of an inside are different.

  • Publication number: 20070192075
Abstract: With conventional simulation devices, the assumption was that only cells would be simulated, and thus the simulation devices had the problem that simulations on the level of tissue, organs, or individual organisms, which are collections of cells, were not possible. The present invention is an organism simulation device that is provided with two or more different simulator parts that calculate the behavior of organism structural elements, a data output part that visually outputs simulation results, and a simulation controller that controls the transfer of data between the two or more different simulator parts and the data output part based on simulation scenario information, which is information on the flow of data and the operation sequence. With this organism simulation device, an environment in which simulation of an organism can be performed more comprehensively and with higher precision can be provided with ease.

  • Publication number: 20060052684
Abstract: Measurement information of a patient 11 in a clinic, video of a medical procedure site, voice in the clinic, and video information of a body including an affected part of the patient are integrated and sent to a medical cockpit through a network 40. In the medical cockpit, the video of the clinic is outputted on a large screen monitor 73, and the sent measurement information and a plurality of sets of body video information are switched and inset in predetermined positions in the monitor 73 and reproduced. An enlarged moving image of the affected part is reproduced on a main monitor 71. Measurement information of the patient 11, moving image information such as video information of the body including the affected part of the patient or enlarged image information is reproduced on an auxiliary monitor 72. The voice information of the clinic is reproduced by a surround speaker 76.

  • Patent number: 7006997
Abstract: For user registration, feature of a file system of a computer of a particular user is extracted, and a licenser generates key data characteristic of the extracted feature and provides the key data to the particular user. At the time of installation of particular software to be protected or actual use (startup) of the software, the user's computer reads the current feature of its file system, and an authorization test is performed for determining whether or not to permit use of the software by the user's computer, on the basis of presence/absence of identity or similarity between a current feature of the file system and the feature of the file system initially evaluated at the time of the user registration. On the condition that it has been determined that the use of the software by the user's computer can be permitted, the key data is updated to match the current feature of the file system.

  • Publication number: 20030172793
Abstract: A pickup device for use in a stringed instrument (e.g., an electric guitar) is constituted using a prescribed number of saddles that are installed in a bridge attached onto the body surface at a prescribed position and are arranged to adjoin together with prescribed distances therebetween in conformity with strings respectively. Each saddle comprises a base member and a string receiving member that are engaged with each other, thus controlling the height for supporting a string thereon. A piezoelectric element is included in the string receiving member to convert string vibrations into electric signals. The height is adjusted upon rotation of the string receiving member or the base member. Due to independent arrangements of piezoelectric elements inside of the saddles, it is possible to effectively reduce effects of interference between sounds of strings.

  • Patent number: 5544043
Abstract: A check processing equipment having an optical amount character recognizing function for a proof machine used at a bank. A received amount can be corrected on an image screen, and it enables the efficient processing for certifying operation. A document capturing unit converts the data on the document into an image data and transfers the image data to a frame memory of recognizing unit. A recognizing unit compresses the image data through a recognizing/determining section and also carries out CAR with the attribute on an E13B code line data. A work station stores the compressed image data, the code line data, and the CAR result in a hard disk and it also displays an extended image and implements the proof of a whole batch through key-in operation for handling unrecognizable data and exceptional error data. An encoder unit performs encode printing and endorse printing on proved documents while verifying the code lines thereof.
