  • Publication number: 20230043713
Abstract: In a simulation apparatus for a cockpit system of a vehicle, a driving environment simulation unit performs simulation of a driving environment of the vehicle involving a driving behavior to acquire driving behavior data and generate a travel image as an image simulating scenery visible from the vehicle during travelling. A travel image display unit displays the travel image. A component display unit displays an image of a component generated based on the driving behavior data. A processing load calculation unit calculates a processing load of the simulation apparatus based on at least one of a time difference between acquisition of the driving behavior data and display of the image of the component corresponding to the driving behavior data and a time difference between acquisition of the driving behavior data and display of the travel image generated in response to the driving behavior data.

  • Patent number: 10742023
Abstract: An object is to provide an air conditioner that can prevent malfunctions due to an inrush current, where the air conditioner includes an inrush-current prevention resistor that prevents inflow of an inrush current from an AC power supply, a relay-a operation unit as a first relay that is serially connected to the inrush-current prevention resistor, a relay-b operation unit as a second relay that is connected in parallel to the inrush-current prevention resistor and the relay-a operation unit as the first relay, an indoor control unit that controls ON and OFF of the relay-a operation unit as the first relay, and an outdoor control unit that controls ON and OFF of the relay-b operation unit as the second relay. When power is being supplied from the AC power supply via the relay-a operation unit as the first relay, the outdoor control unit turns ON the relay-b operation unit as the second relay.

  • Patent number: 10458775
Abstract: An apparatus is provided to measure a depth of a hardened layer formed at a surface layer of a quenched workpiece. The apparatus includes an exciting coil configured to generate a magnetic flux to magnetize the workpiece and a detecting coil configured to detect the magnetic flux generated by the exciting coil. The exciting coil has a U-shaped excitation core portion and an excitation coil portion wound on the excitation core portion. The excitation core portion is arranged such that distal ends of magnetic poles of the excitation core portion face the workpiece. The detecting coil has a detection core portion and a detection coil wound on the detection core portion. The detection core portion is arranged between the magnetic poles of the excitation core portion and along a surface of the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 5849961
Abstract: The novel optically active 1,1'-biphenanthryl-2,2'-diol is disclosed, which is obtained by preparing N((S)-1-phenylethyl)-1,1'-biphenanthryl-2,2'-diylthiophosphorylamide by using optically active phenylethylamine, recrystallizing the compound into an optically active compound, followed by reduction with a reducing agent. The diol compound according to the present invention is useful as a resolving reagent, a starting material of an optically active phosphine compound or a ligand in asymmetric synthesis, forming a complex with a transition metal or a rare earth element to provide a useful catalyst.
