The main body portion is seamless and in a shape having an inner periphery on an inner side of the outer periphery. The shoe includes the upper that includes the main body portion that is seamless and is in the shape having the inner periphery on the inner side of the outer periphery and a sole provided on a bottom surface portion side of the upper.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a shoe includes preparing a flexible shell having an internal space, preparing an upper body in a form of a bag, the upper body being provided with an opening in a portion corresponding to a topline, preparing a sole body, accommodating the upper in the shell, partially fixing the shell and the upper body, and forming the upper body with a last being located in the upper body accommodated in the shell, taking the last out of the formed upper body, and inserting the sole body in the shell.

A shoe making assistance apparatus that assists making of a shoe includes an input device that accepts foot form data, a processor that selects at least one type of a shell model from among a plurality of types of shell models different in shape based on the foot form data accepted by the input device, and an output device that provides output of the shell model selected by the processor.

Abstract: A design support apparatus includes: an input unit that receives shoe last data; a processor (computing unit) that computes a cutting pattern of a sheet based on the shoe last data received by the input unit; and an output unit that outputs the cutting pattern of the sheet computed by the processor. The processor calculates an amount of correction in consideration of a shrinkage direction and a shrinkage coefficient of the sheet, and calculates the cutting pattern of the sheet by developing, on a plane, three-dimensional shape data that conforms to a dimension of the shoe last data, to thereby obtain a shape pattern of an upper, and incorporating the calculated amount of correction into the shape pattern of the upper.

Abstract: A data generating apparatus generates shoe last data for manufacturing a shoe from measured foot shape data. The data generating apparatus includes: an input unit that receives the foot shape data; a processor that computes the shoe last data from the foot shape data received by the input unit; and an output unit that outputs the shoe last data computed by the processor. The input unit further receives selected additional information. The processor specifies a portion of the shoe last data to be corrected, based on the additional information, and calculates an amount of correction of the specified portion based on the additional information.
