  • Publication number: 20220379512
Abstract: A cutting device controls a movement mechanism based on cutting data for cutting, along a cutting line, an object to be cut placed on a placement member. The cutting device acquires an attribute of the cutting line. The cutting device decides, based on the acquired attribute, a correction amount to correct the cutting line. The cutting device generates, based on the cutting data, corrected cutting data for cutting the object to be cut along the cutting line corrected by the decided correction amount. The cutting device controls the movement mechanism based on the generated corrected cutting data and cutting the object to be cut.

  • Patent number: 7853378
Abstract: In a steering system having a variable gear transmission system and an electrical power steering system, respective compensation amounts for first and second electric motors are produced by a first mathematical model. The compensation amounts are added to command values (v1, v2) to generate final command signals (igref, ipref) to the respective electric motors. According to the above structure and operation, a mutual interference between two control systems can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 7492903
Abstract: In the method of the present invention, one of each pair of photons connected through entanglement is distributed to a transmitting station, relay stations and a receiving station. After the photons reach secure sites, such as the relay stations, a base for detecting photons is determined between adjacent sites, and then photons are detected in each site, which makes it possible to obtain a secret key used for secure information transmission between relay stations using bases coincide with each other every time. Also, in the present invention, a high-quality random number sequence serving as a secret key is automatically generated in a physical manner every time by detecting a superposition state of an entanglement and procedures corresponding to those in which a secret key itself is transmitted in a form of a quantum cryptogram are performed.

  • Publication number: 20080275747
Abstract: An incident/accident report analysis apparatus is disclosed. An input unit inputs an incident/accident report containing a crisis rate and an severity of an incident/accident. A probability value corresponding to the crisis rate and a loss amount corresponding to the severity is recorded in a data table. A parameter storage unit stores an N value indicating the number of times a failure occurs and an ? value indicating a risk tolerance parameter. A risk calculation unit calculates a incident risk including the loss amount occurring with the probability of ?% upon repetition of the same failure N times, using the probability value corresponding to the crisis rate and the loss amount corresponding to the severity.
