  • Publication number: 20120260469
Abstract: A semi-automatic slider assembly comprising a slider body, a lock pin, and a pull tab. When the pull tab is in a first orientation, the lock pin engages with elements of the tape and the slider assembly is in a locked configuration that prevents the slider assembly from moving along the tape. When the pull tab is in a second orientation, the lock pin does not engage with the elements of the tape and the slider assembly is in an unlocked configuration so that the assembly is permitted to move along the tape. The slider body has a recess for receiving a portion of the lock pin, and the lock pin has an opening that reduces interference when the pull tab is in the second orientation.

  • Patent number: 8289074
Abstract: A discrete-time operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) with large gain and large output signal swing is described. In an exemplary design, the discrete-time OTA includes a clocked comparator and an output circuit. The clocked comparator receives an input voltage and provides a digital comparator output. The output circuit receives the digital comparator output and provides current pulses. The output circuit detects for changes in the sign of the input voltage based on the digital comparator output and reduces the amplitude of the current pulses when a change in the sign of the input voltage is detected. The output circuit also generates the current pulses to have a polarity that is opposite of the polarity of the input voltage. The discrete-time OTA may be used for switched-capacitor circuits and other applications.

  • Patent number: 8277598
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a display including a light-transmissive substrate bonded onto a display surface of a display body, a bonding surface of the display body and a bonding surface of the light-transmissive substrate are set in a mutually opposed manner across compression-deformable clearance regulation members. The compression-deformable clearance regulation members are provided between the display body and the light-transmissive substrate. An adhesive, previously applied to one terminal edge of a bonding surface, is spread between the bonding surfaces of both the display body and the light-transmissive substrate. This is done by pressing the light-transmissive substrate against the display body starting from one terminal edge towards an other terminal edge thereof and by gradually decreasing a clearance between the bonding surfaces by serially compression-deforming the clearance regulation member from the one terminal edge towards the other terminal edge.

  • Patent number: 8177598
Abstract: In a display manufacturing method including bonding of a light-transmissive substrate onto a display surface of a display body, the bonding includes bending the light-transmissive substrate into an arch-like shape with a bonding surface thereof having a convex shape. An adhesive sandwiched is put between a bonding surface of the display body and a top of a bonding surface of the bent light-transmissive substrate. The bend of the light-transmissive substrate is released while moving two rollers from a center of the light-transmissive substrate in a direction of the bend of the light-transmissive substrate towards both terminal edges of the light-transmissive substrate in mutually reverse directions. The two rollers press a non-bonding surface of the light-transmissive substrate against the display body.

  • Patent number: 8066338
Abstract: Each time a prescribed cycle comes to an end, an ECU estimates an average retaining amount of brake fluid in a reservoir of the current prescribed cycle on the assumption that a pump has sucked a constant amount of brake fluid in the current prescribed cycle. The ECU calculates deviation between the average retaining amount at the end of the previous prescribed cycle and the average retaining amount at the end of the current prescribed cycle. The greater the deviation is, the greater a deviation correction amount the ECU sets. The ECU performs deviation pump control in which the target suction amount of the pump is set based on the reference suction amount and the deviation correction amount.
