  • Publication number: 20250134462
Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a plurality of optical sensors arranged in a detection area; a light source configured to emit light to the optical sensors; an analog front-end (AFE) circuit configured to acquire a detection value of each of the optical sensors; and a signal processing circuit configured to acquire predefined biometric information based on first time-domain data obtained by acquiring the detection values in chronological order. The signal processing circuit is configured to: convert the first time-domain data into a time-domain matrix and perform singular value decomposition on the time-domain matrix, and inversely calculate second time-domain data based on a predetermined singular value among a plurality of singular values obtained as a result of the singular value decomposition; and acquire the biometric information that changes in chronological order as image information using the second time-domain data.

  • Publication number: 20240298937
Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a housing; an optical sensor including photodiodes; a light source disposed in the housing so as to be close to an end of the optical sensor; and a control circuit configured to control light emission of the light source. The optical sensor includes gate lines arranged in a first direction away from the light source and electrically coupled to the photodiodes. The control circuit is configured to control the light emission of the light source such that, when the photodiodes are sequentially driven on a gate line basis, a total amount of light of the light source when detected by the photodiodes driven by the gate line closest to the light source is smaller than the total amount of light of the light source when detected by the photodiodes driven by the gate line farthest from the light source.

  • Publication number: 20240180454
Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a base member having a first principal surface; a detection area provided to the first principal surface; a sensor including a plurality of photodiodes; gate lines; signal lines; and a light emission device. The light emission device includes light sources. A lit area in which the light emission device is lit up is a portion of the detection area overlapping the light sources. A portion of the detection area not overlapping the lit area is an unlit area in which the light emission device is not lit up. Photodiodes that overlap the unlit area are selected from among the photodiodes, and amounts of light received by the selected photodiodes are read.
