  • Publication number: 20150379565
Abstract: A system includes a processor and a communication unit. The processor is configured to track sales promotion information supplied to the user computing device, viewing of the sales promotion information at the user computing device, and electronic receipts for purchases of products by a user of the user computing device, and to determine, based on data tracked by the sales tracking module, whether or not conditions for transmitting the electronic reward to the user computing device has been satisfied. The communication unit is connected to the user computing device and a server for the application through a network. Upon determining that the conditions have been satisfied, the processor transmits the electronic reward to the server for the application through the communication unit, so that the user can be notified of the electronic reward through the user computing device while the user computing device is executing the application.

  • Publication number: 20150379573
Abstract: An electronic content filtering server includes a communication unit and a processing unit. The communication unit is configured to receive from a mobile computing device a request for promotion information and a location of the mobile computing device, and from an electronic receipt server, store information of stores where a product being promoted has been sold. The processing unit is programmed to perform a filtering function on the store information and supply a filtered result to the mobile computing device through the communication unit. The processing unit, when performing the filtering function, determines a distance between the mobile computing device and each of the stores where the product has been sold, selects one or more stores based on the distance, and generates the filtered result including a product name of the product being promoted, and a store name of and a distance to each of the selected stores.

  • Patent number: 8222999
Abstract: A commodity display position alert system includes commodity display shelves set in a selling floor space of a store, an RFID reader provided in each of the commodity display shelves, and a server as a system control unit. The RFID reader reads a commodity code from an RFID tag attached to a commodity. A server compares the commodity code of the commodity and display permission information stored in a database functioning as a shelf-rule storing unit and determines whether the read commodity code is a commodity code of a commodity that should be displayed on the commodity display shelf. When the server determines that a commodity other than the commodity that should be displayed on the commodity display shelf is displayed on the commodity display shelf, the server performs control for outputting a reporting signal for causing the PDA terminal to perform reporting operation.

  • Publication number: 20100161435
Abstract: RFID tags are attached to commodities sold in a selling floor of a store. The RFID tags have stored therein identification codes for enabling identification of the RFID tags. An RFID reader configured to read the identification codes stored in the RFID tags is attached to a commodity display shelf on which the commodities are displayed. When a display quantity of stock of the commodities displayed on the commodity display shelf changes and the display quantity of stock decreases to be equal to or smaller than a predetermined alert value, a server causes a radio access point to output a reporting signal for causing a PDA terminal to perform reporting operation. A store clerk can learn, by checking a message displayed by the PDA terminal, that the display quantity of stock of the commodities decreases and can take timing for display work for commodities.
