Abstract: A system high in availability which includes plural file servers and local disks is realized. A distributed file system has plural file server clusters that perform any one of file storage, file read, and file deletion according to a request. A gateway device mediates requests between a client device that transmits a request including any one of file storage, file read, and file deletion, and the distributed file system. The gateway device includes a health check function unit that monitors an operating status of the file server cluster, and a data control function unit that receives the request for the distributed file system from the client device, and selects one or more of the file server clusters that are normally in operation, and distributes the request to the selected file server clusters.

Abstract: A coupling authentication of a mobile phone terminal is performed between the mobile phone terminal and an authentication server. Both the mobile phone terminal and an authentication server store therein coupling authentication information. In performing an authentication at a service device, the mobile phone terminal generates service authentication information using coupling authentication information and transmits the generated service authentication information to the authentication server. The authentication server performs the authentication using the coupling authentication information and the service authentication information and transmits a result of a service authentication to the service device. The service device determines whether or not the service authentication has been successfully completed, based on the service authentication result.

A user terminal performs a content output process for receiving content from a content delivery apparatus and outputting the content, a Web site displaying process for accepting a request to access a Web site, while the content are outputted, accessing the Web site via the network, and displaying the Web site in such a manner as available for browsing, and a measurement information sending process for establishing an association between Web site specifying information which identifies the Web site as to which the access is requested, and content specifying information which identifies the content being outputted when the access is performed, and sending information of the association as viewing information to a measuring server. The measuring server receives the viewing information from the user terminal and sends the information to a Web server of the Web site as measurement information.

Abstract: Related information of a content is provided quickly. A meta-information collection part 12 of a related information providing server 10 periodically collects Electronic Program Guide information as meta-data of a broadcast program from an Electronic Program Guide distribution station 70. A keyword extraction part 13 extracts keywords from the Electronic Program Guide information. A related information acquisition part 14 acquires related information that includes the keyword from a search apparatus 50, and associates the related information with the keyword and stores them in a cache memory 28. When a related information providing part 15 receives a search request with keywords for related information from a user terminal 30, the related information providing part 15 extracts related information corresponding to the keyword among the information stored in the cache memory 28, and sends the extracted information to the user terminal 30.

Abstract: A technology is provided to facilitate provision of information to a plurality of clients in a computer telephony integrated system. Plural user terminals are respectively connected to an information-providing server that provides requested information, a session control server, and a portal server. Sessions are established between each of the above devices. Upon receiving a data request from any one of the user terminals, the portal server sends the data request to the session control server. The session control server sends the data request to the information providing server. The information providing server sends the requested data to the session control server. The session control server sends the data to the portal server. The portal server sends the data to the respective user terminals.

Abstract: A check rule for assuring system security is generated. A communication information monitoring apparatus includes a pseudo-client, a monitoring unit, and a unification unit. The pseudo-client transmits a request message containing a trace value as a parameter to a web application and analyzes a response message returned from the web application. The monitoring unit monitors whether the trace value transmitted by the pseudo-client is used in various positions in the system. The unification unit generates a check rule according to the processing result of the pseudo-client and the monitoring unit and a check policy registered in advance. The check policy contains the parameter use purpose and the process for the check processing.
