  • Patent number: 10498959
Abstract: A CPU acquires a first focal position where a photographic subject is in focus by following a predetermined control rule, performs first control processing of controlling the motor such that the focus lens stops at the first focal position, and performs second control processing of controlling the motor such that the focus lens stops at a second focal position different from the first focal position. The second focal position is a focal position where a user does not recognize that the photographic subject is out of focus in an output from the imaging apparatus, and power consumption for stopping the focus lens is lower than power consumption for driving the motor so as to stop the focus lens at the first focal position.

  • Patent number: 9191576
Abstract: In the present invention, when a backlash control operation is being performed, the position of a zoom lens at the time of image capturing and the captured image are stored in association with each other. Subsequently, an image processing section trims the periphery of the captured image in accordance with the focal length of a target position (WIDE end) and the focal length of the position of the zoom lens associated with the captured image, and enlarges the trimmed image to a normal size (size for use in a live view or a size of the image before being trimmed). Then, a display section displays the image subjected to the image processing as a live view image.

  • Publication number: 20140176722
Abstract: An imaging device includes an imaging section which includes a lens block and an image sensor, and a CPU which judges whether or not an image captured by the imaging section satisfies a predetermined composition condition (a luminance distribution; sky:ground=7:3) and, based on the judging result, drives the imaging section by using a motor so that the image captured by the imaging section satisfies the predetermined composition condition to adjust the composition of the image captured by the imaging section.

  • Patent number: 8094203
Abstract: In a digital camera (1), when a plurality of EV shift values are selected and operation of a set key is performed by a user, a CPU calculates shutter speeds that respectively correspond to the selected EV shift values (S6). Next, the CPU repeatedly picks up images in sequence at the individual calculated shutter speeds, sorts the picked-up frame image data by shutter speed, and generates moving image data for individual shutter speeds. Then, the CPU multiple-displays the generated moving image data for each shutter speed as through images (S9), and records the generated moving image data for each shutter speed (S17).
