  • Patent number: 6879261
Abstract: An operator presence sensing apparatus for a seat of a vehicle includes a base member (7, 8) for supporting the seat (6), and a relay member (9) extending vertically between the base member and the seat. The seat is oscillatable about a pivot axis (X) extending in a transverse direction in the base member. The relay member is pivotably supported at one end thereof by the pivot axis and at the other end by the base member through a cushion spring (10). A seat lift-up spring (12) is disposed between an underside of the seat and the base member for receiving part of the weight of the seat. The seat unoccupied by the operator is oscillated to a floating position lifted from the relay member by the lift-up spring.

  • Patent number: 5233880
Abstract: A running control system for a vehicle having a stepless transmission includes a displaceable drive arm connected to the stepless transmission, a control member such as a pedal shiftable within a predetermined range, a transmission mechanism for transmitting a shift of the control member to the drive arm, and a forward-backward selecting lever switchable between a forward mode and a backward mode. The drive arm has a forward range to one side of a neutral position, and a backward range to the other side of the neutral position. When the selecting lever is switched to the forward mode, the drive arm is displaced within the forward range by the shift of the control member within the predetermined range. When the selecting lever is set to the backward mode, the drive arm is displaced within the backward range by the shift of the control member within the predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 4953427
Abstract: A speed control system for a working vehicle having a stepless change speed device and an auxiliary change speed device. The speed control system comprises a speed governor for controlling rotational rate of an engine, and an accelerator lever for operating the speed governor. The speed governor is interlocked with the stepless change speed device such that the rotational rate of the engine is increased with an accelerating operation of the stepless change speed device, and is decreased with a decelerating operation of the stepless change speed device. An interlock breaker is provided for breaking the interlocking between the speed governor and stepless change speed device when the auxiliary change speed device is in a low speed state.
