  • Patent number: 11444730
Abstract: A bandwidth part (BWP) and power scheduling method and apparatus for indoor terahertz are provided. The BWP and power scheduling method uses an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) and a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to compensate for a shortcoming, wherein terahertz waves are not suitable for an indoor transmission, convert an indoor environment of an IRS-assisted terahertz propagation into a channel model, and convert an optimal wireless resource scheduling in an indoor IRS-assisted terahertz system into a functional optimization design with random constraints. Policies and corresponding actions are trained by using a proximal policy optimization (PPO) to schedule a power and a BWP. An actor part generates continuous a power scheduling, and a critic part generates a discrete BWP scheduling.

  • Patent number: 9596047
Abstract: An implement method of reservation protocol with multi-services convergence transmission for OBS networks differentially processes the synchronous service flow and the asynchronous service flow, and assembles multiple different types service data into different data burst (DB) by generalized optical-burst paradigm. It functionally expands burst control packet (BCP) and classifies the BCP into two categories: routine burst control packet (R-BCP) and synchronous trace burst control packet (T-BCP). Then it can differentially reserve wavelength channel resource and preempt resource to try to keep the transmission features of synchronous service such as period, low delay jitter and low dropping probability on the base of ensuring the basic QoS requirements of various kinds of service, and realize that a single OBS network efficiently provides asynchronous service and synchronous service.

  • Patent number: 8588611
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for establishing an inter-domain path that satisfies wavelength continuity constraint. The fPCE stores a virtual topology comprised by border nodes of all domains. The present invention uses parallel inter-domain path establishment method to decrease the influence from WCC. Compared with the sequential process way in prior art, it enhanced the resource utilization and decreased computation delay.

  • Publication number: 20120174222
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the safety of network terminal devices that utilizes the basic operations in network terminal devices (NTDs) and a network security center (NSC), as well as the analyzing and processing ability provided by the NSC to solve network security issues based on hierarchical network security structure of client request-server response. In the NSC, the solution is broken into a plurality of basic operations with their respective corresponding parameters. Each basic operation is encoded according to an operation code table (OCT) and encapsulated in a network security suspicion information packet (NSSIP). The NSC sends the NSSIP to the NTD. The NTD receives and splits the network security solution packet (NSSP) to get the plurality of operation codes and their respective corresponding parameters. The NTD retrieves a plurality of call interfaces from the OCT according to the plurality of operation codes.

  • Patent number: 7917648
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and network element for scheduling data transmission in a packet data network, e.g. a differentiated services network. Data traffic of a predetermined traffic class is classified based on a predetermined traffic profile, e.g. responsive or non-responsive traffic, and an in-profile rate of the data traffic is estimated. Then, a weight determining a transmit order of queued data packets of said predetermined traffic class is adjusted according to the estimated in-profile rate. Thus, the data traffic is marked into different classes based on the traffic profile and a queue scheduler improves fairness between the classified flows in the packet data network. Thereby, enhanced fairness between traffic profiles can be achieved easily and effectively.
